Have you read A.A. Pessimal fanfic? he has some brilliant writing in original style.

I’ve had them rec’d to me before I believe. But you know when someone gives you a book to read and you’re like great, yes I shall read this soon and then it’s 3 years later and you find it in your unread pile and yea...(it doesn’t help that they only appear to be on ff.net and I don’t go there anymore unless I really have to, I just find Ao3 so much easier to navigate with my visual issues)

I was reading the cursed child plot and it seemed ridiculously over complicated and over wrought. And a huge cliché in here is Tommy boy's kid as are new villain.

It seems to have no focus at all but probably because the change of mediums, it got effected.  What you do if asked to do a harry potter sequel?

It’s all just a bit of a convoluted mess, and you are right, parts of it most likely don’t work because there are some things that just don’t translate well into different mediums. Like I think if we knew this was a novel and we’d have x amount of pages to go into thoughts and details, it might be okay, but with a play it just sort of comes off as disjointed and wtf. (like the whole Draco and his wife thing)

As for what you do when asked to write an HP sequel, I have several ideas, but it’s 2am and I need more brain power to go into it. Maybe one day.
