Yayayay! I haven't started it yet - I was honor-bound to play through Portal before picking up another game - but I'm planning to get into it tomorrow. I loved the Captain Toad levels in Super Mario 3D World, so here's hoping I love all these too! :DDD
Plus, GTA V, fun though it may be, was kind of making me uncomfortable. I felt... actively marketed against? Whereas Captain Toad has Toadette. Easy choice.

Re: MaddAddam Trilogy. The Year of the Flood is better. It runs at the same time as Oryx and Crake so some things are cleared up. Be warned though, it has some parts that are religiously involved and kind of boring. Hymns and the like. It also reads from two different characters. I really am enjoying the trilogy and I hope you do too if you continue to read it.
