Enjoy the tastes of Greece with this tasty sandwich. The lamb patties are seasoned with herbs and spices from the Mediterranean, and they are topped with creamy tzatziki sauce and fresh vegetables.
Ingredients: 500g ground lamb. 1/2 cup breadcrumbs. 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese. 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley. 1/4 cup chopped red onion. 1 clove garlic, minced. 1 teaspoon dried oregano. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. 4 burger buns, split and toasted. 1/2 cup tzatziki sauce. Sliced tomatoes, lettuce, and red onion for garnish.
Instructions: In a bowl, mix together ground lamb, breadcrumbs, feta cheese, parsley, chopped red onion, minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper until well combined. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into patties. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through. Spread tzatziki sauce on the bottom half of each toasted bun. Place a cooked lamb patty on top of the tzatziki sauce. Top with sliced tomatoes, lettuce, and red onion. Cover with the top half of the bun and serve immediately.
