have you tried going to a different place to study? like a library or cafe? listening to focus enhancing music? the pomodoro technique? if nothing seems to help and you truly can’t focus i suggest talking to your counselor or a therapist to see if it’s something more than just the typical student uninterest.
as for the skyping while studying, i’m sure you can find someone! even if it’s someone across the country that you met on tumblr. ask around, make a post about it (if you tag it #kimberlystudies i’ll reblog it), message some people you think would be interested!
