Random but
does anyone think it’s weird there were NO ancient robots in Lanayru Mining Facility?
Think about it. Robot carcasses are all throughout Lanayru Desert and Sandsea, but in Lanayru Mining Facility, the place where probably thousands of robots worked, has none.
kinda weird if you ask me…
I feel like this is a reference to the password the Deku Scrubs give you Inside the Deku Tree in Ocarina of Time. 2, 3, 1. “23 is number 1!”
Guys it took me lItErALlY ALL FUCKING DAY to beat the Lanayru Mining Facility on Skyward Sword. I needed a ridiculous amount of help and my wiimote batteries needed switching out twice. Kill me.
I was going through Lanayru Mining Facility earlier (rn I’m actually playing through two different quests, Hero Mode and regular lol) and I happened to look at the ceiling. It was so cool! (especially in the past!) The ceiling portrays clouds and stars against a dark background.
(This is the best picture I could find—look at the top).
Isn’t it so pretty? I love the designs in this dungeon; they’re so intricate and, in the past, colorful!! :D
If Hylians are descendants of the Wind Tribe,
Then are Gerudo the descendants of those who were exiled from the Wind Tribe in the Era Of Chaos?
If this is true, then does that mean that Gerudo ancestors may have been key players in the construction of the Lanayru Mining Facility? The LD Robots are awfully concerned with human interference so this implies they have seen humans before.
In the past, the architecture features gold metalwork, desert flower symbols, and doors inlaid with gems. In the present it looks like the place was ransacked for any removable valuables especially the gems placed in the doors.
There is an obvious electricity theme as well as land monsters that evolved from sea creatures that swim in sand just like the Wilds era Gerudo Desert.
Fun to think that the ancient surface Zonai saw Ampilus rolling around electrically charged, and then invented big wheels to harness that power themselves.
