Language Project Forms

Hi there! We have been getting some asks from people that are intrested in this project, specifically having their fics be translated or translating fics for an author. If you want to help some authors to translate their fics please go to this form and fill it out. From there we will great our translator page, much like our soon to be revamped beta page!

NOTE: Please make sure both parties (author and translator) are 100% sure about working on a project together. If there is unease about the situation from either side, please do not continue to work together if it cannot be resolved.

Any updates on the language project? I might just be stupid but I’d love to translate fics and I’m not sure if the page hasn’t been made/no one needs me personally, etc

We are working on it! We talked about tit this week, we have been very very busy with work and uni so we are trying to set everything again to make it run again as soon as possible.

hi ! about the language project thing, there's something I'm not sure about. is it only for authors who want their fics translated in english or for authors who write in any language and want their fics translated in any language ?

Hi! 

Is actually for all three! Authors that have translated fics, authors that write in any other language and if the author wants to translate their fics, they can go to our betas page and look for someone to help them translate or correct a fic in different languages.

Remember that if you have a translated fic you can submit the fanfic to our page. Just add the original fic, writer and the translations and who was the translator.

Ok so like here's a stupid question: if I were to translate fics (with permission from the author), where do I upload the translation? Ao3? Sorry for being a bother, I've never translated before

That is something you can arrange with the author. The idea is that you can talk to the authors and both parts have to agree on how are you going to post the translation of the fic

Hey, I have a question regarding the translator list. I already translated some phanfics (with permission) and uploaded them (again, with permission). Will there be a column in the list for the translators to put the already translated works in? I already send in my information, so I don't really know what to do. Thank you for answering ^^
