Four years ago today. • Four years ago today I was in Vang Vieng, Laos. It is one of the most amazing, tranquil places I’ve ever been. We spent a whole week there, and it truly was great. • However, due to my anxiety and restlessness I had a hard time relaxing, despite the perfect surroundings. • At the time, it was filled with coffee shops and restaurants playing episodes of friends, and people lounging around drinking shakes and smoking. • I was going stir crazy from just watching others doing nothing. And as much as I wanted just to lounge around, I couldn’t. • I am an active person who needs to keep busy. And mixed with the anxiety, I just couldn’t enjoy the complete calmness of the place. • That being said, I would probably still go back there in a heartbeat. Although, I’ve heard it’s not the same anymore... • • • How about you? Do you enjoy lounging around on holidays? Has anxiety stopped you from being completely present? • • • • • • • • • • • • • #bloggerscommunity #aspiringblogger #bloggerslifestyle #bloggersofinstagram #vangvieng #vangviengtrip #vangvienglaos #laostrip #fouryearsagoalready #fouryearsago #fouryearsagotoday #travelwriting #writingabouttravel #travelandwrite #writeandtravel #pasttrip #pasttravels #pasttravel #copingwithanxiety #anxietyawareness #anxietyproblems #anxietysupport (at Vang Vieng) https://www.instagram.com/p/CB0vMnfpyod/?igshid=1oa6w0r5juaav

Hey everyone! Thank you for visiting my page, and taking the time to consider my cause. I am a George Mason University art student (Go Patriots!), who's raising funds to cover airfare, student visas, and travel expenses for a study abroad trip to Laos this July. The program costs for 6 credits (2...
Hey y’all! My I’m Devin, an undergrad art major, & I’m raising funds to support my travel expenses for a study abroad opportunity to Laos this July. I know most of us are living check to check, but if you could donate or at least share this post, I’d deeply appreciate it.
As many of y’all know, these types of opportunities for fine art majors, especially in photography, are far & few in between. So I’m grabbing 2017 by the hairy balls & makin’ it happen. I’m only asking for assistance with the $2,000 for airfare. Like I said, if you can donate please do so, if not then PLEASE reblog - just “liking” a post won’t spread the word.
🙏🏾 Peace & Blessings 🙏🏾

BIM
