Hero Form Appearance: A fusion of an armored blacksmith’s gear and YuYuYu’s Hero Form outfits. The undersuit is obsidian black, yet since the main outfit is an ivory like the flower, that helps both of them contrast perfectly. However, the outfit becomes a striking yet perfectly melding shade of metallic blue when you reach the lower half of the pants, the lower half of the sleeves, and the tailcoat. Accent colors include black, light lilac, gray, silver, gold, cream, violet, and yellow. The boots, belt, and all of the mechanical parts all have patterns of large wild irises on them, and the only accessory, besides the goggles, is a large wild iris brooch on Franky’s left breast. The flower’s petal shape can be seen in the tailcoat and collar.

Bio: "Iron Man" Franky, real name Cutty Flam, is the shipwright of the Straw Hat Pirates under captain Monkey D. Luffy. As his epithet implies, he is a cyborg, having rebuilt his own body from iron scraps after he was run over by a sea train. He was formerly a member of a criminal shipbreaking gang called the Franky Family, which operated in the shipbuilders' haven of Water 7. He encountered the Straw Hats when he and the Franky Family brutally beat Usopp and stole a great deal of money from the crew while they were attempting to get their boat fixed on the island. However, his interests subsequently aligned with the Straw Hats' when the secret government organization CP9 kidnapped both him and their crewmate Nico Robin in a bid to construct the ancient superweapon Pluton, which he owned the blueprints to. After escaping the clutches of CP9, Franky decided to join their crew, drawn by their dedication to both their ship and their fellow crewmen.

Large wild iris is a large, evergreen, rhizomatous plant native to South Africa and often grown as an ornamental. It blossoms profusely under the right conditions producing large, showy flowers which are followed by seed capsules.

I am a big fan of the the symmetry and colour patterns found in the genus Iris and relatives, and this was very pleasing to see at Glasgow Botanic Gardens.
