Today our lovely piggoes, Hyacinth and Margaret, moved out of their temporary enclosure to the field. After a few zaps from the electric fence, they settled in and even went to bed in the pig ark nice and early. I hurdled them in just for peace of mind overnight. . From now on they'll be rootling about clearing the area and pooping to make the area ready for the pick-your-own pumpkin patch next year. Then when they're old enough these lovely LB sows will be bred to help continue the rare breed line. .
