Have you heard about the TV show Castle? Why aren't there any Larry au's based on that show! It's got so much emotion. Pining! Banter! Kid fic! Ot4 being brothers! Would you consider writing it?

ahah yeah i’ve heard of castle! this is a generalization, but i feel everyone that watched firefly is a nathan fillion fan, right? i’ve only seen like two eps of castle though.  

I do agree with you it would be an awesome premise for a larry au.  Harry as Castle and Louis as Beckett is how i’m going to go with it for now because Louis would look super hot as a plain clothes detective with one of those badges on a chain around his neck IMO.  

man that more i think about it, it’s like a really really good premise because it’s hard to come up with enemies to lover stuff for them! Like Louis being so initially resistant to harry’s presence for pretty good reason and also so grumpily annoyed that he’s attracted to him. ahahaha TOO BAD FOR YOU, LOUIS!!  

also, oh my god, Harry like flushing with pleasure so hard the first time he realizes he finally truly has Louis’s respect!!! and then he’s like, uh oh... i might be in love here. it’s perf!!!  

anyway, it’s really a great idea, but I don’t think i will have the time to write it, sorry.  i’m supposed to be working on other stuff and i can’t even get myself to do that...

okay, i’m getting a little overwhelmed thinking about it because like.  how great that it would involve some bad sex??? like, there would be awkwardness and like insecurity and uncertainty and embarrassment, especially in the beginning. And like, also a lot of trying to hide those feelings. but also there would be orgasms!! and like “oh let’s try that again!!” and then it would get better for them but also dangerously emotional!!!!!!!!!!!!  

ahahha i get so worked up thinking about either of their hearts being in danger. always.  always.  like “oh no!!! harry’s heart! oh no!”

So my mom roped me into standing on a corner with her this morning, to count the people who go by. It’s because they want to get bike lanes for the city. Anyway, what if Harry was a part of a campus organization doing that same thing, and he was stationed on a corner from 2-3pm everyday for a week or two. And it just so happens to be on Louis's route to the library. And every time Louis goes by on his skateboard Harry gets so flustered and distracted by how good looking Louis is that he loses count of the other pedestrians and cyclists and feels like an embarrassing failure, so he accidentally starts glaring at Louis because of it. And Louis notices and finally confronts him about it in dramatic Louis fashion like, "what exactly are you doing with that clipboard??? If I don't want to donate to your cause I don't have to! You don't have to frown at me!!" And then he ends up staying and helping Harry once Harry sheepishly explains about his people counting. and later Harry tells him the truth about the staring and there is a lot of kissing.

Larry AU where they’re both from backwoods Canada where its all hilly and forest-y in the Canadian Shield and they meet each other because they’re both into black magic and witchery n’ they have to hide it cause its kinda religious there and thats SUPER unacceptable and they’d be ostracized from the community if they were caught and also listen to this for inspiration plz and thanks i really need this male witch aesthetic

I seem to keep end up watching films after reading larry AUs based on them, I am literally comparing the characters to them why must they haunt me so

imagine your otp meeting in a long line at disney world and Person A helping assure Person B’s little one that it won’t be so scary and then striking up a conversation and by the time they get on the ride, the little one is begging to sit on Person A’s lap and they all end up spending the whole day walking the park together
