Okay, I don't know if anyone will care about this idea. But I am posting it in the hopes that maybe I can find people who will want to interact with my stupid ideas.
I wanted to start an ask blog series thing called Last Defense. This is an idea that I want to turn into a manga or anime one day, and want people to interact with the characters so I can flesh them out. However... I cannot draw for crap. If this is to become an ask blog, it will be entirely text based.
So, this is what I will do. I will leave brief descriptions of the five main characters of Last Defense below this paragraph. If you have questions, please ask them! Maybe eventually I can partner up with an artist that cares about the project and illustrate it! But if this not your forte, I completely understand. I simply desire to create, and not every creation will appeal to everyone.
Gideon - Youth Pastor Vampire
Gideon has been on Earth since the fall of the Roman empire. He was never a mortal that became turned by a vampire. On the contrary, he was a rare birth of two vampire parents, which rarely happens. In the modern era, he joined a Christian Church and became a youth pastor, not necessarily believing in the religion, but simply enjoying the chance to interact with the youth of this generation and spread positivity.
Maya - Card Game Champion
Maya is a 14 year old superstar, one of the top ranked players of the incredibly popular trading card game Sealed Champions. However, after a match, she was ambushed by a shady organization that wanted her to play in an underground competition for the chance of great rewards. She was granted a dueling apparatus that allowed her cards to exist in reality. She refused the match, but happily stole the machine.
Kiopotyl - Lazy Volcano Spirit
Kiopotyl was born when Mount Horatius was born, a volcano located in South America. However, the volcano has never erupted despite it very much being active. This is because Kiopotyl just does not care. Erupting means moving, and heating up, and that's just a lot of work. Nah, they get sacrifices from the natives to keep from erupting, so there's no reason! Well, they did. Until colonizers came and ruined everything. Now, Kiopotyl is bored. And more than a little angry.
Harley - Sentient Motorcycle
Harley was a custom made motorcycle, hand crafted by mechanic Megan. She rode Harley everywhere. To dates, to doctor's appointments, to work, to home. They even had a specially installed engine bought from the black market, found in some vessel in Nevada. However, one day, Harley was left in the desert, with Megan nowhere to be found. Which is when the engine, which was actually an alien power core, woke up and gave Harley sentience.
M'telotl - Last Whaler on the Moon
M'telotl lived on Luna, also known as Earth's singular moon, during the age of the dinosaurs. They were of a race known as the Kytopes, and bred and hunted the many breeds of Lunar Whale. That is, until they were kidnapped by an enemy civilization, who crash landed into Earth, leaving M'telotl to freeze as the first Ice Age began. They woke up centuries later in modern times, being told that their species was wiped out so long ago that they weren't ever recorded in history books.
And that's the team! Five misfits tasked with saving the world from angels, androids, hostile aliens, and many other weird foes! My hopes is that I can one day make this into a cohesive show/book series. However, for now, I will attempt to make an ask blog about it. Send questions if you feel inclined!
About 4 minutes into My Hero Academia S4E14, Froppy says “Deku’s fighting” like they’ve come down to their last defense, like *Oh, shit....if Deku has to step in, all Hells about to Go Down*
