What do you mean it's been over two years since i last drew Hakuba!?!?!?!?
It doesn't feel that long . . . regardless i felt it was about time i tweaked my design for him.
I felt like he really just needed the eyebags. There's no way in hell he's getting adequate sleep. And as always, I had to give him some new outfits.
Im also gonna take a moment to talk about some of my headcannons too ::3c
First off I've always thought of Hakuba as a historical reenactor/historical dresser. Which if you're not familiar with the concept is somebody who collects, repairs, preserves, and/or wears vintage and antique clothes and styles.
There are many different kinds of reenactors, but I like to think Hakuba focuses on 1890's-1950's English Faishion. Many of Hakuba's canon outfits even fit the trends of these eras so I feel feel there's quite a bit of validity to this headcannon. (I actually made a post a long time ago going into each fit and talking about how it fits into vintage trends)
Branching off of the latter, I like to think Hakuba collects and uses antuique items such as cameras, wax cylinders, photographs, typewriters, pocket watches, opera galsses, lighters etc. He likes analog mechanisms and prefers them to their modern counterparts. Each piece in his collection has a history, and he gets to expand it as he continues to maintain and use them. They also work nicely in his detective work as well. Photographs from old film cameras are much harder to tamper with, and even when they have been, it's easy to tell (this makes good photographs invaluable as evidence)
On a different note I think Hakuba is LGBTQ. Like idc how just as long as he is yk. I love it when folks depict him as trans. Trans masc or trans femme i don't care or even NB is cool. (I personally headcannon genderfluid)
Also, definitely, Bi or Pan
And autistic definetly autistic
Anyways thanks for comming to my ted talk
