Love these LazyDad stories~ I feel like Trixie is stronger than Stingy but Stingy fights dirty. I’d love to explore their friendship more someday.

Trixie clutched her homework sheet as she stomped over tothe mailbox in the center of town. Stingy was already there, forcing a letterinto the mail tube.

“Hey! What are you doing?!” She called, jogging the last few yards.

Stingy turned up his nose at her, “I’m asking Sportacus to help with my homework,”he said.

“No fair! I need help too!”

“Well you’re too late! I’m about to send him the letter. Then he’ll be toobusy to help you.”

Trixie reached over and grabbed the tube from Stingy. He tried to take itback but she elbowed him away, holding the tube out of reach.

“Give me back my letter!” he ordered.

“No!”

“It’s mine!”

“You can’t be the only one to get help!”

They smacked and pinched and kicked, fighting for control of the lettertube to Sportacus. Both dropped their homework sheets in the scuffle. 

“What areyou two doing?!”

The children froze. Stingy had Trixie pinned to the pavement. Trixie hadthe tube tucked under her chin, a hand on each of Stingy’s wrists to keep himfrom grabbing it. The pair looked up at Robbie Rotten, who was glaring down atthem. 

“Don’t you know fighting makes a lot of noise?! How is anyone supposed tonap around here with you two yelling?”

“Stingy’s trying to keep Sportacus all to himself!” Trixie blurted.

Robbie raised an eyebrow, “Come again?”

Stingy was quick to whine, “I want him to help me with my homeworkbut Trixie stole my letterand won’t give it back!”

“You really think that flipping jock can help you with homework?” Robbie snorted. He stooped topick up the sheets of paper the children had nearly forgotten were there. Helooked the sheets over. “Actually this is so simple even he mightbe able to figure it out.”

Trixie and Stingy exchanged a look. “Could you explainit to us?” Stingy asked.

Robbie thought about it for a moment. “Do you two promise to stopfighting so loudly?”

“We promise!” They chorused.

“Fine. Let’s get this over with.”

Robbie turned and headed for one of the benches. Stingy and Trixie follow,leaving the letter tube against the mailbox.

The three of them sat together for a long time, one child on either sideof the villain. Robbie turned out to be a good teacher. He explained theproblems better than their own teacher. After pulling two pencils from hisvest, he walked them through each problem and even offered different, simplerways to get to each answer. They were able to do the last five questions all ontheir own.

“All correct,” Robbie declared, “Don’t be afraid to ask questions inclass if you don’t understand something. I bet the other brats have the samequestions you do.”

“If we do get confused again, can you help us?” Trixie asked.

Robbie waved a hand dismissively, “Yeah yeah, whatever keeps you twofrom fighting while I’m trying to sleep.

Trixie and Stingy exchanged a look again, this time smiling mischievously.In sync, they squished Robbie in a hug, cried “Thanks, Dad!”, and ran off withtheir worksheets. Both were giggling at the look of pure shock on Robbie’sface. 

Both missed that shocked look melt into an affectionate smile.

So I finally fucking cracked a wrote a Lazytown fic. Hooray! It’s got Robbie, it’s got fairy stuff, it’s got cute domestic shit, people are gonna die. It’s a wild ride. This one isn’t gonna have Sportarobbie, mainly because Sporty is hardly in the damn thing, but I just had a lot of feelings about Robbie. In the coming fics after it? Definitely. LazyFamily Fic requests and prompts?

I’m trying to get a handle on writing Lazytown fic with a family dynamic.  I’m not super comfortable writing romance for this fandom yet, so I’d prefer to just avoid it, if you don’t mind.  I am interested in writing some fic with family dynamics Sportadad in all his variations, Lazydad in all of his, adopted children, biological children, grandparents, the Glaepur-Rotten clan, siblings and any other variation of LazyTown folks in family groups to get some practice in.

Lazytown Head Cannons

So I've seen a head cannon floating around that Robbie is part fae and honestly I am so on board??? -Robbie going out at night to secretly stretch his wings -Robbie is totally like a sugar plum fairy cause he hates health food and they sorta live off sweets so??? -if Robbie eats healthy he has a meltdown like Sportacus does with junk food and sugar -once he becomes friends with the kids he's obviously the person to go to for birthday party supplies -he bakes massive cakes that are too big to leave the lair cause it's impossible to carry out of his chute so parties are held down there when he bakes the cakes -at first Robbie is freaked out and quiet at the parties until Sportacus explains to the townsfolk that Robbie needs his alone time and the parties are stressful for him but he still enjoys them -once everyone knows Robbie needs time alone to cool down they take breaks from the party to give him some time to relax -when there's a party in the town hall there's a room made special for Robbie with a recliner and fuzzy orange pillow for comfort and it has a tv and earbuds so Robbie can relax some then get back to being with his friends -Robbie makes all the kid's Halloween costumes -he has insomnia so if you have a nightmare he's the person you always know is awake. He's always ready to listen to kids who can't sleep and give them warm milk with honey -after calming a kid down from a nightmare he usually falls asleep holding them -Sportacus always takes pictures when he finds them the next day -Sportacus doesn't always understand that some things can't be fixed with games and sportscandy so robbie is there for the moral support Sportacus can't give -Stephanie gets her period for the first time and is terrified because "oh god there's blood" and "oh no my dress!" And Robbie just hurried her over to one of his secret entrances and gets her new clothes and feminine products, and of course fixes her dress so there aren't stains. -Robbie always has pleanty of chocolate for Trixie and Stephanie's time of the month -Robbie starts carrying around a small bag with just first aid and feminine products for the girls but always says it's his gadget bag or candy stash so no one makes fun of the girls -Robbie has to be physically restrained when the heart throb boy from a neighboring down breaks stingy's heart -"WHAT DO YOU MEAN I CANT LAUNCH HIM INTO THE OCEAN" -"Röbbîé Ī thïnk ÿóû néēd tò câlm dówn" -I WILL END HIM -ziggy is embarrassed to wear his super hero outfit to school so Robbie shows up in full super villain attire and causes havoc so he can save the day -trixie starts having body issues because most girls do and Robbie sits her in front of the mirror and Thoroughly goes through every inch of doubt she has and tells her why it's not true and how special she is -pixel makes something for the science fair and isn't allowed in because it's too advanced so Robbie sneaks in and steals all the other inventions and wot let them have them back till pixel can enter -one of the kids comes out as trans and Robbie is right there with whatever they need to make their first steps in transition (make up, binders, clothes, etc.) -one of the kids gets bullied online and Robbie LITTERALLY GOES INTO CYBER SPACE TO DESTROY THE BULLY -stephanie goes to prom for the first time an Robbie helps her with hair and make up -Robbie always threatens litterally ever potential boyfriend/girlfriend for any of the kids -"you break their heart and I break your neck" -Robbie obviously has had some sort of abuse or something in his past that makes him scared of sudden movements or people coming to close, he tends to jump away from Sportacus in the show when he gets to close to fast or puts his hands near him, so he probably knows a thing or two about ptsd or depression and is always there to help the kids if they go through something

Sportsfamily! I wanted to draw all three of them in the Sportacus/super hero outfit! I used @rottensocksandfluff’s design for Robbie (with a few of my own adjustments) He doesn’t hate the outfit, btw! He just doesn’t want them to know how much he likes it ;)

Shopping for Makeup

“Hey, Robbie?” Stephanie went up to Robbie holding numerous makeup products. “Could you teach me how to do my makeup?”

“Really? What makes you think I could help?” Robbie questioned.

“Well, your makeup always looks so good, so I thought you could teach me how to do my makeup better.”

“Flattery will get you everywhere, kid.” Robbie said. “So, I guess I’ll help you out with your makeup.”

“Thank you so much, Robbie!”

“Alright! First things first, you’re wearing way too much mascara.” Robbie bluntly stated. “That, or the brand you’re using isn’t that good. You only really need one or two coats of mascara unless you’re going for a certain look. What are you even using anyway?”

“Well, uh, I’m not really sure, but…” Stephanie handed Robbie her mascara.

Robbie opened it, sniffed it, and made a face of disgust.

“When did you get this mascara?” Robbie questioned.

“Uh, I don’t really remember. A few months ago, I guess?” Stephanie answered.

“Yeah, this mascara is probably gone bad.” Robbie said.

“Makeup can go bad?”

“Of course it can! Lipstick goes bad after a year, as does foundation. Lip gloss go

es bad after about one or two years; same with powder stuff. For eyeliner, it depends on what kind it is and can last anywhere from three months to two years. Mascara has the shortest shelf life though. Some people say it goes bad after two or three months, others say it goes bad after a year. Six months is a reasonable amount of time before throwing it out though.”

“That seems like a lot of stuff to remember.” Stephanie made a face.

“Eh, you get used to it. Now, let’s see the rest of your makeup collection.”

Stephanie handed the rest of her makeup to Robbie, and Robbie looked at each one.

“You have an impressive collection for someone your age.” Robbie commented. “Not to say that you have a lot, but I don’t know many twelve year olds who own foundation. Typically it’s just a bunch of lip glosses.”

“I know Stingy has a lot of lip glosses.”

“Figures he would.” Robbie looked over the makeup once again before turning towards Stephanie. “So, is there anything you feel like is missing in your makeup collection?”

“Uh, I don’t really know.” Stephanie admitted.

“How do you feel about going shopping for some makeup?” Robbie asked.

“Right now?”

“Why not? It’s not like we have better things to do, right?” Robbie grinned mischievously. “Want to try a disguise?”

“Why would we need a disguise when we’re just going to be going shopping?”

“For fun, of course!” Robbie answered. “What kind of disguise would you want?”

“What are my options?”

“Well, I do have a pink outfit, but how would you like to try purple for a change?” Robbie asked.

“Can we mix and match them?”

“Obviously! Now, just let me…” Robbie spun Stephanie around, and she emerged wearing a frilly, purple dress with white stockings and pink shoes. She also wore a pink butterfly hair clip.

“Wow.” Stephanie grinned. “I feel so pretty!”

“My turn!” Robbie spun around and came out wearing a form-fitting lavender dress paired with knee high black boots. “Perfect! Let’s go!”

The two went off to the mall for some quality makeup for Stephanie.

“Alright, so how sensitive would you say your skin is?” Robbie inquired. “Like, how easily would you say you break out?”

“Not very. I mean, my skin is fairly clear.”

“That is true, but I guess you haven’t really hit that part in your life where you’re breaking out all the time anyways.” Robbie’s eyes suddenly went wide. “Oh! Clinique is giving out a bag of makeup to anyone who buys $28 or more of their products!”

“What’s Clinique?” Stephanie questioned.

“It’s a high quality makeup brand that is great for people who break out easily, and it has some of the best mascara ever.” Robbie explained. “That, and it sometimes has deals like this. So, let’s find the Clinique makeup section.”

Robbie and Stephanie looked around until they found an area with the word Clinique on all the products.

“Okay, so here’s the selection we have. Lipsticks and eyeshadows over here, I think there’s the mascaras. What would you like to start with?”

“I’m not sure. It all seems kind of overwhelming.” Stephanie admitted.

“How about we go to one of the people working here? They can help you find the best makeup for you.” Robbie suggested.

“That would help.”

“Good!” Robbie went up to one of the employees. “Excuse me, but could you help this girl find some makeup. She’s kind of overwhelmed by all of the options.”

“I’ll be happy to help!” The employee said. “Are you looking for basics?”

“I think that would be a good place to start.” Stephanie said.

“Well, I personally think that the most basic basic to have is brown mascara.”

“Brown mascara?” Stephanie questioned.

“Yes. It’s more of a natural look. I would recommend the High Impact Mascara.” The employee said.

“I would recommend the same.” Robbie stated. “Like I said, Clinique has the best mascaras!”

“That’s very flattering!” The employee responded. “But what do you think…”

“Stephanie. My name is Stephanie. And I’ve never really tried brown mascara before, but I guess it would be a good option to have.”

“Alright, Stephanie. Now that we’ve found a mascara for you, is there anything else you would like?” Robbie asked.

“Well, I would like a new lipstick or eyeshadow.” Stephanie answered.

“Here they are.” The employee led them over to the lipsticks. “Could I recommend the Different Lipsticks? They’re very good for those who have dry lips. Or, if you just like the colors.”

Stephanie picked one of them up and looked at the name to see ‘Glazed Berry.’ Robbie was also looking through the lipsticks, and his interest was piqued when he found one called ‘A Different Grape.’

Robbie took one of the q-tips offered and swatched the lipstick.

“Oh! I like this color!” Robbie commented, using some of the lipstick that was one the q-tip to put on his lips. Stephanie followed suit with ‘Glazed Berry.’

“How do you feel about the color you chose, Stephanie?” Robbie asked.

“I like it!” Stephanie grinned. “It’s very pretty!”

“Is that all the makeup you’ll be purchasing today?” The employee asked.

“I don’t know. I kind of want to look at the eye shadows first.” Stephanie said.

Stephanie and Robbie looked over the eyeshadows.

“Hey, Robbie? Do you think ‘Angel Eyes’ or ‘Bubble Bath’ would suit me better?”

“Hmmm.” Robbie thought for a moment. “I’m going to say ‘Angel Eyes.’ And, for myself, I’ll take the ‘Purple Pumps.’”

“Will that be all?” The employee asked. “A High Impact Mascara, two Different Lipsticks, and two single eyeshadows?”

“Yep!” Stephanie answered.

“That will be $88.73, please.” The employee said.

Robbie paid, and the employee put all of the items in a bag along with the free samples.

“Anywhere else you’d like to go, Pinkie?” Robbie asked.

“Well, we’re in a mall, right? So, let’s go window shopping!” Stephanie suggested.

“That sounds like a great idea.”
