Bad Opinions

Why am I a little bigot? I can’t believe I really said you need dysphoria to be trans and that pansexuals aren’t real. Even if to me pan seems like the same thing as bi, it isn’t to other people and that’s cool. But whatever, by internal homophobia does not and should not involve other people. Imagine giving a shit about people trying to live their best life. Like, people who look down on sex workers and shit. Not cool. I know I previously made a post about correcting my past transphobic posts, but it was also a little transphobic. People can use whatever the fuck pronouns they want and I have no right to put a label on them that they aren’t comfortable with. I cant believe it took me two years to not be fucking transphobic. I literally hate all my old posts, they all have opinions I don’t hold anymore. Well, whatever I’ll just put my new and better opinions out there and try to fix my toxic ass blog.

I really don’t care how you label your sexuality but if you’re calling yourself a lesbian while also being into men.. yikes like that’s invalidating my sexuality please don’t do that, it’s harmful toward all sapphics, not just to lesbians. This discourse is so exhausting.

Panphobes get my axe. 🪓 Some people ID as bisexual, some ID as pansexual, and some ID as queer or use other labels. None of these are automatically transphobic. (Not that you should be a smelly transphobe ever)

✿ Reminder that pronoun gatekeeping & sexuality gatekeeping (ie saying non-binary people can’t use the gay/lesbian labels or being against they/them or he/him lesbians) is gross. Pronouns don’t always equal gender & gender non-conforming people can identify any way they like. ✿

Bisexual, pansexual and lesbian are three different identities. I can’t believe that saying such is considered gatekeeping.

Oof. Followed someone on Twitter who I thought was really cool only to see that they think that lesbians, women who are attracted to women exclusively (and in some cases non-binary people but ya know) can be bisexual or pansexual. Bisexual or pansexual lesbian. That makes no sense.

I hate it here.
