After the game, some of them went to get drinks at the bar.  Tina aka Aunt T and Loren spend some time catching up, it’s been awhile.  And Vin chats with Cookie Lyon about his workout regimen.

They move into the little VIP section Tomika created for them, waiting for Carmen to join them.  As she walks towards the group, everyone starts singing “Happy Birthday To You...!”  And a pretty red-headed stranger says a soft “Happy Birthday” as Carmen passes by.  

Loud familiar chatter fills the air in that section of the room, as the family exchanges jokes and lively conversations.  Jina’s sprinkles some of her new jokes into the mix and more laughter erupts!  They sip their tasty cocktails for an hour or so more....fully enjoying each other’s company.

As they all pile out, ready to leave, Carmen officially greets the nice stranger, and finds out her name is Vivienne Everett and she’s an educator.  A career Carmen really admires, because she considers herself a music educator.  Vivienne is just starting out and would love to share ideas, so they exchange numbers.

The lanes were crowded, thankfully Tomika had already rented their two lanes.  Everyone separated into 2 teams, with Ryan, Carmen, Jina, and Tomika on one side.  And, Vin, Usher, Miko (pink hair), and Cookie Lyon on the other side.

Miko is an acquaintance of Carmen’s who takes piano lessons from her.  It was nice for her to come by.  Cookie Lyon just happened to be there, trying to meet new friends.  

Tomika’s in beastmode...she lit the lane on fire!  Carmen celebrates!

Behind them, Tina stands to root for her hubby Usher’s team, as Cookie delivers her ball..and it looked like Cookie might pull them ahead, but naaah....

Ryan & Carmen’s team yells:  Look at that form, Jina!!  We gonna win!

Sure enough, Jina makes another strike!  Vin’s team did well, but Ryan & Carmen’s team came out on top!

Just as Jina got a clean getaway from her mother’s prying questions, Carmen’s phone rang again..this time, it was her oldest twin, Tina, asking if she’d like to go to the Flea Market.  Of course Carmen said yes..she’s been wanting to go for several weeks now.  Carmen loves a good deal on knick knacks and collectibles.

They hug each other at first sight. 

Carmen:  Tinaaaaaa...how are you sweetie?  How’s my lil grandbaby baking in there?

Tina: lol The baby’s fine, and I’m doing great, Mom..it’s so good to see you! Happy Birthday!

Carmen:  Thank you!  It’s been awhile, hon!  You called on the perfect day.  This is wonderful..I’ve been wanting to get to San Myshuno to see the knick knacks. lol!

Carmen makes her way over and spots a lotus candle light set that she immediately goes ‘ga-ga’ over!

Carmen:  Ouuuuu! Looka these, Tina!  I know just where to put these at home.  $60 bucks, tho...?! Hmm...lemme talk to this lady over here.

Tina knows how her Mom is once she starts shopping and hopes they don’t have to be here all day, the spicy smells coming from the food kiosks are making her queasy. And Daddy & Jina would kill her if she lost track of time.

Carmen walks over to Bella Goth and starts talking her down on the price..She ended up paying $45 for the set, and is pretty happy about it.

She and Tina meet some new people, like Lucious Lyon, who’s in an awful mood. Carmen tries to cheer him up with her witty sense of humor, but he wasn’t having it and in a very threatening tone he asked everyone at the table to leave...and they all did.

Not phased, Carmen and Tina take a Mother/Daughter selfie to commemorate the day..and while Carmen is distracted by the live performer playing a moving acoustic rendition of ‘Gell Hafta No Hast’ by Ben Ward on his guitar, Tina calls the house to make sure Daddy & Jina have everything set up at home.  Perfect timing..everything’s ready!

Sierra marched past the lockers, dreading today’s lesson in class.  She never practiced her music over the weekend. 

She can do math and reading all day...figure out the toughest equations for a first grader, understand the major historical events of the world and put them in a timeline...but...put a sheet of music in front of her, and the notes jump off the page and fly away.  She just can’t get it.

And, today is music appreciation day at school..all the students will be tested on a solo they were given to learn by reading the sheet music.

Sierra just hopes she isn’t the first one called.

As soon as that thought clears her head, Mr. Acharaya calls her to the front.

Sierra whispers to the student sitting next to her:  Did he just say my name?

She screeches out the first bar, and then remembers how to turn the bow and relax her thumb and keep her elbow up...the rest of it sounded okay, a few missed notes, but it’s totally based on memory and how the music sounded in her ear when Mr. Acharaya played it again before they started. She didn’t play the entire solo, only half of it....she put the violin down and takes a dramatic curtsy as if she just played one of the greatest symphonies.

She waited for the kids to laugh, but they didn’t...each one of them was as petrified to go next, as she was.

Mr. Acharaya asked her to continue her practicing at home.  He says she did a good job, and she’s on the right track.  She made a B today.  Sierra can’t believe it.

Brooklyn:  *to her Newcrest neighbors*  If ya’ll are hungry dig on in!  Tehya you are glowing! Getting bigger now, I see!  When are you due? 

Tehya:  Aww thanks girl..*rubs belly*  We’re due around the end of February early March of next year.  And don’t mind us...we’re just gonna wait on everyone else, no biggie.  It looks so good, tho. My mouth is watering.

Jared:  Yeah, Im about two seconds from grabbing one of those sausages..they need to hurry up. lol

Brooklyn calls outside to everyone to COME EAT, YA’LL!

They all file into the dining room, where they end up talking, laughing, some even flirting, and eating good food for the rest of the evening.  Leland made sure to seat himself next to Marchon’s father, Sabien Cunningham, Jr...they talked alot about his ideas for the future of Blythe Harbor.

Everly was so excited to get the Best Participant in Class plaque, and Leland hung it on the wall.  She hopes to gain more plaques as the school year goes on. More plaques mean special rewards.

Speaking of rewards, her Dad gave her permission to go to the park with her friends, even before doing her homework..she couldn’t believe it.  And it’s a school night at that! Oh boy, what a treat! lol  They had a great time at the Wild Waters Park Extreme.

The house became filled very quickly and Leland escorted them out back where all the festivities were.  

1.  Self-sim, Tina Raymond waves hello to everyone, while Asya Rasmussen, in the blue t-shirt, doesn’t really know anyone yet.  

2.  Tehya Morales, in her 2nd trimester now, greeted future Mayor Sabien Cunningham, Sr. and his wife, Tomika, while Everly greets their son SayJ (Sabien Jr.)   And in the background, Brooklyn is catching up with Erica Mori, the photographer.

3.  Eden & Marchon quickly meet up with all smiles.  Marchon is quite impressed with all the food they have.

4.  Erica Mori, had a beautiful finish on the water slide, as Brooklyn looks on.

Gameplay Note:  Brooklyn met Erica at the Old Brewery Nightclub, her first night in Newcrest.

Eden still had a little bit of a fever, but went to school the next day.  

She talked with Andre Lyon for a few minutes before the school bell rang for class to start.  They talked about it being their freshman year, and how small their class is.  He’s an interesting guy, seemed a bit sad.  

The Principal walked her upstairs, asking if she felt better.  Guess the word around school was that she was contagious..he wanted to be sure everyone felt comfortable. No health hazards.  *eye roll*

She was looking around for Marchon Cunningham, who’s been tutoring her after school, but her classmates said he was out sick today.  She hopes he didn’t catch what she had.  Marchon is starting to become a friend of hers; he’s the only cool kid that she clicks with at Twin Beech High.  He’s said he feels the same. He’s a geek and she definitely likes to pick his brain. 

To top it off, it was science day, a day she and Marchon really looked forward to when they found out.  The guest teacher was from SimLabs, who’s been conducting some great research in molecular science. She gave them all a hands-on exam with the microscopes.  Eden aced hers cause science is her all time favorite subject, and it bumped her grade up to a B!  She will be glad to give Leland the good news.  

He rewards good grades, so.....maybe he’ll go ahead and buy that dishwasher she and Everly keep begging him for.  Because he’s not the greatest cook, the food gets stuck in the bottom of the pots; it’s tough to get out!  And with this 4th of July party he’s planning..there’s no way they want to be cleaning dishes all weekend.  Maybe he’ll make Brooklyn do them, she thinks to herself.
