Someone sent me this and it was kind of funny in a cute way.
Welcome to my first “Wishlist Wednesday”. As you all know, I’m new to blogging so I’ve taken a lot of advice from Kas’ sister (thank you Saara!) - one bit of advice being that I have some regular themes I stick to. So that’s where “Wishlist Wednesday” comes in - it’ll be a weekly post, every Wednesday, to showcase hotels, restaurants or any other place that isn’t home and Kas and I really want to go to.
This week is the stunning Crow Wood Hotel & Spa in Burnley. The hotel opened last year so not only is it brand new but it’s absolutely stunning.
ROOMS All rooms in the hotel are classed as “luxury” and it’s easy to see why. Looking at the decor and the colours, you just know that luxury is exactly what you’re getting. The luxury rooms are available as double or twin with a number of accessible rooms available. All the usual amenities you could expect are included along with heated mirrors which is something I can’t say I’ve ever seen before! Also available are Executive Luxury Suites which look amazing and boast breath-taking views (the website even says you can see deer roaming around the grounds!) and a fully-stocked minibar.
DINING Having both a hotel lobby bar and Wilfred's Restaurant & Bar, you'd be spoiled for choice here. It must be said that I am an incredibly fussy eater and looking down the menu, there really is something for everyone, from seasonal Lancashire dishes to pastas and pizza. I love how much of a wide offering there is and the setting, again, looks absolutely stunning. Also on the estate is Bertram's Restaurant - an "adult-only dining experience" - and The Lounge.
SPA & LEISURE Being a resort property, the leisure facilities are actually a short stroll from the hotel, housed in The Woodland Spa. Offering luxurious treatments as well as spa stays, it screams utter decadence. The list of what's on offer here honestly seems endless but what really appeals to me are the THREE pools and multiple jacuzzis. One of the three pools is a hydrotherapy pool and having been in one previously that's something I'd love to try again. Another is the outdoor infinity pool, something which I'm sure appeals to Instagrammers everywhere.
In summary, the hotel seems utterly idyllic and ideal for a short couples' get-away. I'm a big fan of a nice view so the Executive Luxury Suites draw me in as well as the hydrotherapy & infinity pools. I think as I don't drive, getting here may be my biggest challenge, however fingers crossed I can tick this one off my wishlist once I am able.
Can we discuss how beautiful this man is. I can't deal. 😍😚 . . . . . #longdistancerelationship #ldrcommunity #ldrcouple #ldrblogger
