First, I absolutely loved the demo. Just wanted to get that out here. Second, what do the Dryads, in their true forms, look like in the Nameless? Because, unless I missed it, which I very well could’ve, their appearance isn’t at all described. Do they look like humanoid plants, or non-humanoid plants? Or none of the above?

Oh! Flip, if it didn’t come up let me know, I might not have described it as well as the other ones, but it should come up when you select your sheevra type. So each of them (dryad, unseelie, leanhaun) all have relatively humanoid true forms how I write them, but the full differences are up to you and how you imagine a fey-like creature!

They all have the blackened sclera and different ears (realizing I wrote pointed ears in the beginning of the prologue but might change that). The only “official” difference in The Nameless is their markings and how they interact with their magic.
Dryads: Images of different flora basically tattooed all over their body (Dealer’s choice! I wanted to leave this open so people could be free to imagine whatever plants they wanted), and bark-line lines wherever those images are not. The flora can bloom into reality and lift off their skin at will if a dryad prefers them materialized vs pushing them back down as images on their skin again. The materializing happens unintentionally when they have heightened emotions or use strong magic.
Unseelie: Marks like brush strokes over their whole body, and when they use magic, the markings lift away from the skin to “paint” around them, and is especially potent to create illusion magic. When the magic ends or they call it back, it’s like they’re being painted instead, and the marks come coursing over their skin. These shift over an unseelie’s body depending on touch, the markings either showing an inclination or an aversion depending on your MC. (i.e they can sometimes transfer the markings to another person’s body on accident if the markings are inclined to touch. But they can still be called back).
Leanhaun: Glowing, shifting marks that are always changing around their bodies (I always imagined them like lines of varying circle sizes moving like waves over them? But what the glowing marks look like is also a dealer’s choice). They cast them in whatever light they need or else create a more ethereal look to really confuse some mortalis 👀 These flash and flare brightly with the heightened emotion/strong magic combo.
