Thanks to a good friend @sasquatchsightings - I have been made aware of something I had NO idea I was doing! 

Let me share this with you all, and also let you know I’m going to change the way I talk so I don’t come across like this, as it was never my intent!! And if I have offended you then I am DEEPLY sorry and will be working to fix that!  I figure posting it here will be helpful to those of you who like me are still learning!

[cont.] I ask because a few times you’ve used phrases and grammar that is used as a signal between TERFs (like saying “a transgendered person” rather than “a trans person.”) Such grammar is often used as a signal to other TERFs to mean “I’m working on this influencer” or “I’m looking for fellow TERFs to affirm me.” I’m fairly certain you’re not in this group and simply haven’t learned the insidious vernacular. (And yeah, TERFs have disgusting vernacular.) So anyway, if you make more posts about trans rights, be sure not to use “transgender” as a verb (as in “transgendered”) but strictly as an adjective, because that might be a source of some of your hate anons. Also, Natalie Wynne, aka ContraPoints is pretty cool for learning about trans stuff; I recommend her videos on Pronouns, Incels, and “Are Traps Gay.”

Some of our corn is dried out and ready to harvest.

Most of it is malformed or not completely developed. But boy is it pretty!

I know we have a long way to go before we get something edible.

Anything we harvest this year will be allowed to dry out and be purely for decor. After we are done with it, we will use it to feed the squirrels.

WAIT you can’t eat yogurt on antibiotics? i was always told specifically to eat yogurt while on antibiotics, to balance the effect the antibiotics have on your good bacteria! (skyr is fucking delicious either way tho!!) (i’m glad you’re healing well!!)

I looked into it and apparently I’ve been misinformed *does a side-glance at a certain person in my life*. Yes, yogurt is good to eat while on antibiotics. I’ve been told before that it counters the usefulness of antibiotics and that’s clearly not the case. I stand corrected. Thank you for pointing it out! I love skyr so much!!!

I really haven't seen any aggression at all. I talked to platy owners before I chose that stocking, and everyone I talked to reported that there was little to no aggression among all-male shoals, which is what led me to make the decision.

Yeah I’ve just been reading up on that, and the consensus seems to be that all-male can definitely work. (but that sometimes an individual can rise up and be a bully, although tbh that’s true of any platy… it’s what I love about them. they’re all so different and some of them are just dicks. ldsfsd such kiddos) seems that all females can work too! I think that the 2f/1m ratio is really when ppl absolutely want to keep both sexes, and to avoid males harassing females and stressing them to death. i’m glad I know that now!
