Learning Style.
Would it be creepy if I tried to go back to college? And I don’t mean just for the learning, I mean living in the dorms and stuff too cause I’m disabled and I can’t drive. I’ve tried the whole online thing too, and I can’t do that. I need an instructor physically in front of me, it’s just how I learn. I mean, I look like I’m young enough to be there. Even younger actually, just ask anyone at a sit down restaurant, they keep on trying to give me kids menus. And I’m guessing I got a good few years left of looking really young, even when I start transitioning. I just have this hang up where my age makes it feel weird to me that I would have to live in the dorms. I just really want to go back to college cause I want to graduate and earn another graduation party. Cause my highschool graduation party sucked for me, it was like nobody noticed that the person who the party was for wasn’t outside hanging out with the rest of them!! And I partially blame myself for that, but more so I blame someone I used to try to be friends with, but she was just impossible!! I was trying to be accommodating to her, I tried to get her to go outside where the actual party was many times, but she wanted to just sit inside with my other friend who I could’ve possibly gotten to go outside with me if that one girl wasn’t there!! We didn’t even talk while sitting at the table, we just kind of sat there quietly!! So, that’s the reason I want to go to college again.

I’m currently thinking about how I taught myself literally everything in school ever since I could remember because I couldn’t understand the teachers whenever they would speak. I was terrified of asking for more help in fear of ridicule and punishment. So I developed my learning style into a way where I didn’t need anyone to tell me anything and was called a gifted kid because of it.
Here are some tips for getting the most out of study.
1. Pick a place and time
Everyone has their own idea about the best place and time to study. Whether it’s your bedroom at night or the library after school, find a study space and a regular study time that works for you and stick with it.
Set up your study space – Your study space should be quiet, comfortable and distraction-free. It should make you feel happy and inspired. Decorate it with your favorite pictures or objects. If you want to listen to music or burn incense, pick a space that lets you do that.
Find your best time – Some people work better in the morning. Others work better at night. Work out which time suits you and plan to study then. Don’t study much later than your usual bedtime – pushing yourself late at night can make you too tired to study properly.
2. Plan your time
It helps to have some plans in motion so you can make the most of your study time.
Make to-do lists – Lists break tasks down into manageable chunks. At the start of the week, make a list of the things that you need to have done by the end of the week. Make a to-do list at the start of each study session too, so that you’re clear about what you need to be doing with your time.
Use pomodoro method – Set alarms to remind you about the end of your study session. Take short breaks before continuing studying. A regular reminder keeps you honest and your plans on track.
3. Discover your learning style
Most of us have a preferred way of learning. Get to know the learning style you’re most comfortable with and study in the ways you learn best.
Note that these styles are just a way to think about different studying techniques. Try each of these out and see which ways you prefer.
Auditory learners prefer to learn by listening. Try reading your notes aloud and discussing them with other people. You might like to record key points and play them back.
Visual learners prefer to learn by seeing. Try using colors in your notes and draw diagrams to help represent key points. You could try to remember some ideas as images.
Tactile/kinesthetic learners prefer to learn by doing. Try using techniques like role-playing or building models to revise key points.
4. Review and revise
At least once a week you should go back over the things you’ve studied in class. Thinking things over can help you to understand the concepts and help you remember when you need them the most.
Quiz – Try out Kahoot! or other online tools. Quizzes are great ways to get confident about what you know and find out what you still need to learn.
Make your own study materials – Think up some practice exam questions or create your own flash cards to help you study. This way you learn it all twice: once when you make the study materials and once when you use them to revise.

Quarantine challenge
Week 2, Day 3
Take a picture of your most colourful notes
It's hard for me, cause as an architecture student (3rd yr now) I have a lil bit different learning/teaching style. So part of my notes looks like this one on the left - only some bullet points are colorful (now it's history or law, two years ago there were many more "regular subjects" and I had to do regular papers). And the sec part is like the sheet on the right - sketchy notes, some schemes and drawings with description.
So... It's not really colorful cause I usually use pencils 😅
I'm jealous about all of these aesthetic notes, which you posted here!
-DAY 14: My Style-
Baju lengan panjang-celana panjang/training; baju lengan pendek-celana panjang; daster-celana panjang; baju lengan pendek-celana pendek. Ya gitu siiih. Seingatku aku nggak pernah mengkombinasikan baju lengan panjang-celana pendek sih wkwkwk, aneeeeh.
Seenggaknya nggak mempengaruhi jam tidurku.
