I started doing pokemon teams for my main characters! Tion was first, this is his team~
A specially colored Hisuian Zoroark first and foremost. It fit with it's typing and ability to change how it looks, as this is something Tion can sorta do as a last resort. But also because of the description of how viciously it'll protect it's family.
Leavany was added on a similar note. Wanting to wrap all his friends in blankets and take care of them is very relatable for Tion.
Mimikyu is a favorite because of how hated Tion is for being a necromancer and a freak in ways I won't fully describe here, but still being caring and friendly.
Polteageist got partly picked for being a ghost type and partly because making tea and meals for his friends is Tion's favorite and most important job in his opinion.
Vileplume was also picked for the sorta 'alchemist' aesthetic it carries. But for the other end. Being clever with poisons and such is what Tion *prefers* to do with his necromancy to protect his friends and save the really freaky stuff as a last resort.
And finally Marowak, not just because the bone and skull aesthetic was very fitting, but because losing his mother in a tragic way.... Happened. Tion's not nearly as focused on revenge though.
