The training grounds were quiet, with only the rustling leaves and the sound of Naruto and Sasuke’s footwork breaking the stillness. They had been sparring for a good hour, each trying to one-up the other, as always. Naruto stood panting, hands on his knees, sweat trickling down his face.
"Giving up already?" Sasuke taunted, his usual smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth.
Naruto shot back up, blue eyes flashing with determination. "You wish! I just-" He huffed for breath. "-need a minute to strategize!"
Sasuke scoffed, crossing his arms. "Right. Like you ever have a strategy."
But Naruto’s grin suddenly turned mischievous. "You know, Sasuke, I think I do have a plan now."
Sasuke raised an eyebrow, clearly skeptical. "Oh? And what stupid plan would that be?"
Naruto crouched, muscles tensing as if he were about to pounce. "Tickle jutsu!" he cried, launching himself at Sasuke with a wild grin.
Sasuke barely had time to dodge as Naruto tackled him to the ground. "What the...Naruto!" Sasuke snarled, struggling beneath him.
"Gotcha!!" Naruto grinned triumphantly as his fingers darted to Sasuke’s sides, wiggling them playfully along his ribs.
Sasuke twitched violently. "Hng- N-Naruto! Stop that!" he growled, but a small, involuntary gasp escaped his lips when Naruto hit just the right spot.
"No way!" Naruto grinned even wider, encouraged by Sasuke’s reaction. "You’re ticklish, aren’t you, Sasuke? I knew it!!" He upped his speed, attacking Sasuke’s ribs and stomach with merciless little pokes.
Sasuke thrashed, lips pressed into a tight line as if he refused to let any laughter escape. "Naruto-!" he warned, his voice dangerously low.
"Come on, just laugh already! You’re totally losing!" Naruto said, hands working furiously to keep up the tickling.
Sasuke’s patience snapped. "You idiot- ugh fine!"
In one swift movement, Sasuke flipped them over, pinning Naruto flat on his back. Naruto blinked up at him, startled.
"W-wait, what are you-"
But before he could react, Sasuke’s hands descended on him with precision, fingers expertly kneading into his sides.
"HAHAHA!! No! Sasuke, not you too! HahahaHAHAHA!!!" Naruto’s laugh burst out immediately, loud and wild as he squirmed beneath Sasuke.
Sasuke’s smirk deepened. "What’s wrong, Naruto? Can’t handle a little tickling?" His tone was calm, but there was a distinct glint of amusement in his dark eyes.
"NAHAHAHA OKAHAHAHAY! I’m—HAHA—I’m sorry!" Naruto gasped between bouts of uncontrollable laughter, kicking his legs wildly to no avail. Sasuke's grip was unrelenting, and every touch sent Naruto into new fits of giggles.
"You thought you’d win with this?" Sasuke said dryly, fingers now digging into Naruto’s ribs and hips, hitting every sensitive spot he could find. Naruto was ridiculously ticklish, and Sasuke made sure to exploit it fully.
"NOHOHO FAHAHAHAIR! You’re—HAHA—CHEATING!" Naruto howled, tears starting to form in the corners of his eyes from the nonstop laughter.
"Cheating?" Sasuke echoed with a scoff. "This was your idea, dummy."
Naruto could barely breathe, thrashing helplessly under Sasuke’s tickling assault. "I CAN’T—AAAHAHAhaha—Okay! OKAHAHAHAY!! You win! You win!"
Satisfied, Sasuke finally relented, sitting back and letting Naruto catch his breath. Naruto lay sprawled on the ground, gasping for air, a goofy grin plastered across his flushed face.
"You really thought you’d beat me with that?" Sasuke asked, shaking his head with a faint smirk.
Naruto propped himself up on his elbows, still grinning despite the defeat. "Hahaha... Okay, maybe it wasn’t my best plan."
"Obviously." Sasuke stood, brushing the dirt off his clothes. "Next time, try thinking a little harder before you do something so stupid."
Naruto gave him a cheeky grin. "Yeah, yeah... But you are ticklish, though. I’m totally telling Sakura."
Sasuke narrowed his eyes. "If you value your life, you won’t."
Naruto laughed, scrambling to his feet. "Gotta catch me first!"
And just like that, Naruto took off running, Sasuke hot on his heels. Their training may have turned into a tickle fight, but some things between them never changed.
I believe I can credit @sleepysheepytea with single-handedly making me interested in Sasuke as a lee. But I believe she deleted the piece that caught my fancy in the first place, so I won't be posting it here. Instead, have a screengrab from the anime - I would be lying if I said that the Deidare fight didn't pique my interest in a couple of places.

Ever since the two were paired up on team seven, Kakashi couldn’t recall a time where Naruto and Sasuke weren’t fighting, whether it was physical aggression, hurling insults at each other, or just passive aggression and sarcasm, the two were always at each others’ throats.
As kids, the two were classic rivals. They were the run-of-the-mill adolescents, who only wanted to beat the other at anything and everything.
Now as teenagers, the two are strong in their own ways. But, this doesn’t stop them from continuous bickering and small tantrums.
Eventually, their Sensei had enough.
One lunch… it’s all Kakashi wanted. Just one hour to celebrate his three students and their accomplishments. He was saving up his ryo to be able to treat them for weeks, and of course his two problem children just had to be themselves.
“If you don’t shut up right now I swear I’ll-“
“You’ll what, Naruto? Make a shadow clone and have it yell at me? Ooooh so scary.” The raven-haired shinobi rolled his eyes as he held his hands up in mock defense. “If you start throwing lethal jutsu at me right here, we’ll get kicked out and Kakashi will have to pay for the entire restaurant!”
“You’re such a jerk!” Naruto barked as he narrowed his eyes and stood up to lean toward Sasuke.
The other shinobi matched his action, and the two were now standing with their faces only about six inches apart. Sakura swore she could see the lightning bolts that shot between both of their eyes.
“You two are insufferable!” The pink-haired girl hissed as she pulled on both of their jacket sleeves, “Sit down before you give Sensei an ulcer!”
“He started it!” Naruto whined, knowing he’d been defeated.
“You’re such a toddler.” Sasuke mumbled coolly, accenting his quip with an eye roll.
“Sasuke I swear to-“
“Naruto, Sasuke, look at me right now.”
The two bickering shinobi froze in place as angry their faces dropped. They slowly turned toward their Sensei…
“Sasuke, you’re going to tell me what you would like to eat, since I already know Naruto’s order by heart. After that, I’m going to order your lunches and you’re going to go outside and fix whatever the hell is making you two act up. Do I make myself clear?”
The blonde genin nodded fearfully, while Sasuke only replied curtly, “crystal.” Sakura, on the offhand, was thrilled that she had never pissed off her Sensei before. She couldn’t help the chill that ran down her spine at the thought of what might happen if she did.
“Glad we’re on the same page.” Kakashi’s once terrifying demeanor had retreated, and he wore his signature close-eyed smile once again.
Sasuke pointed to an item on the menu, then stood up from the booth. “Come on, idiot.”
“Well now I’m not going because you’re being a dic-“
“I said come on.” The black-haired shinobi dragged Naruto by the back of his jacket collar, “You know damn well how I feel about repeating myself.”
As the two left wordlessly, Kakashi turned to his remaining student. “So, Sakura. If you would be so kind as to enlighten me, what was training with the Hokage like?”
When Naruto and Sasuke arrived outside, the black-haired shinobi dropped a cross-armed Naruto into the grass, then sat down adjacent to him. “What’s got you so pissy?”
“You.”
Sasuke couldn’t help but snort at how easily the word flowed from his teammate’s lips. The answer was curt and nonchalant, and yet Sasuke found it so amusing. “Reason in particular?”
“Nope. You’re just stupid.”
“Narut-“
“And I’m… jealous of you.” The boy sighed, turning away from his teammate with a dejected sigh.
Sasuke blinked, closing his mouth to prevent a snarky comment from coming out.
“I know, I know, it’s stupid but…” the blonde shinobi sighed, “I just wish that I knew what it was like to have a family at a point in my life. The closest I have is Iruka and Kakashi Sensei, but it seems Kakashi Sensei likes you better.”
With a sigh, Sasuke stood and plopped down next to his teamm- no, Naruto was his friend. That’s what Sasuke had to be in this situation: a friend. “Naruto, Kakashi knows your order by heart for any restaurant you go to. I know you can’t tell, but he always is there to catch you when you pass out from chakra exhaustion.”
“Does he really?” Naruto asked, turning to face his friend.
“Every time, without fail.” Sasuke placed a hand on the blonde shinobi’s shoulder. “And I wish I could tell you it was pleasant to have a family, but it wasn’t always as fun as it cuts out to be in your head.”
“I guess so.” The blonde sighed again, “I’ve always wanted to know what it was like to have a brother.”
The black-haired shinobi tensed, exhaled, and spoke. “Itachi was… he was a good big brother, so I thought. He always made sure to remind my dad that I was important too. It felt good to feel appreciated, but he was also a menace. He would hide my stuff in high places, flick my forehead all the time, and don’t even get me started on how many times he tickled me it was-“
Naruto chuckled gently, “I can’t even imagine you being ticklish.”
“Uhhh ignore that part.” Sasuke cursed himself internally. Why did he include that piece of Itachi’s antics out of all of them?
“Oh? Just ignore it, huh?”
Within an instant, Naruto’s dejected mood disappeared and was replaced by his sunshine-y attitude once more. He dove onto his friend and held one of Sasuke’s arms above his head.
“Don’t you dare, Naruto.” Sasuke spat, trying to put up a front through his apprehension.
“Is someone scared?” The blonde teased, bringing a hand down to squeeze his friend’s side.
Sasuke’s body abandoned him as he involuntarily jerked away from the touch. With every squeeze, his torso flinched away from it. Truth be told, Sasuke hadn’t been tickled in so long that his body was preparing for pain. “D-dude stop!”
“Oh man no way, this is so awesome!” The shinobi teased as he began to flutter his fingers on his friend’s side, “I’m not stopping until you laugh!”
“G-guess you’ll b-behehe- BE here a while.”
Naruto gasped, “Did I just hear you laugh? The Sasuke Uchiha giggled?” He smiled and dug in a little harder, sending shockwaves through Sasuke’s body.
“Nahahaharuhuhutohoho!”
“Sahahahasuke!” The blonde teased.
Sasuke covered his face and whined as giggles poured from his lips, “Yohohou ahahare suhuhuhuch ahaha- AGH NOHOHOHO.”
Poor Sasuke had made the rookie mistake of covering his face, this is common information. But he left his upper ribs wide open for Naruto’s attack. The jinchuriki boy couldn’t help but giggle as he watched his stoic friend fall apart.
“GOHOHOHOD YOHOHOU AHAHARE THEHEHE WOHOHOHORST!”
“And yet I don’t hear you asking me to stop!” The blonde sing-songed, “I know it’s been some time since someone tickled you but man, even I would’ve given in by now.”
Upon hearing those words, pale skin turned cherry red, and Sasuke finally had the idea to move his hands down. Unfortunately, that only trapped Naruto’s wiggling fingers. “NAHAHAHARUHUHUTOHOHO.”
“You done?”
The black-haired shinobi smacked at his friend’s arm, signifying he was tapping out. Naruto immediately stopped and flopped down on top of his friend’s stomach, giggling alongside him. “Man it’s been a while since we had fun like that. Consider that revenge for April Fool’s day.”
“N-Noted.”
The two sat in a comfortable silence, allowing Sasuke to catch his breath. They wordlessly watched the clouds roll by, enjoying the peace shared between them. They were only interrupted by Sasuke’s stomach rumbling, causing Naruto to laugh at the sudden vibration against his head.
“I think we should head inside.” The black-haired shinobi mumbled, lifting the blonde head off of his stomach and standing up. He offered a hand to his friend, who took it with a smile. “And by the way?”
“Mm?” The blonde shinobi asked, turning toward Sasuke.
The other shinobi squeezed his hand with a shy smile. “You don’t need a brother to know what it’s like to have one; you have me.”

pretty much the only ones i feel would actually participate would be Hinata and Kiba, but neither of them rly do it that often

she will not hesistate to help Lee in tickling Neji, they love to see him smiling and laughing
she will also help Neji turn the tables on Lee, and tries to keep the topic off of her gfdjjfk her being tickled is inevitable though
she'll tickle Lee on her own when he's being annoying, and sometimes Neji just to see him jerk away hehehe
Neji
he's honestly not super ticklish most areas of his body
if someone tickles him long enough, he'll eventually start giggling but he pretty much never lets anyone get that far
under his arms and his ribs are a bit more ticklish; those will give a slightly more immediate reaction
however, his absolute death spot is his back, right between his shoulder blades
it's the only place he can't really anticipate an attack, so tickling him there will definitely get him to shriek
if someone tickles him by surprise, his byakugan will accidentally activate
also he can't focus if he's actively using it while being tickled eueue
also. ticklish palms. need i say more?
his giggles are rly soft and quiet, but he tries to muffle them :(
his tickle laugh is also somewhat quiet, but it's a bit more open and also,, like,, neat?? idk for some reason i dont see him making like any weird noises or anything but like his laugh is very steady HFKSDJK
Rock Lee tickles him all the honking time - most of the time unintentionally only to get excited when Neji reacts and just Lee just attacks him lol
Tenten also joins in a bunch; it's pretty difficult for one person to tickle Neji, so she and Lee help each other out when attacking him
Neji does not tickle others often, but when he does… they're dead (not rly lol)
he usually finds tickle fights below him, but every once in a while, when Lee and/or Tenten are being extra annoying, he'll let himself go a bit and serve them their own medicine
he is a TERRIFYING ler,,, he's got the scary eyes, he's got them crazy speedy hands, he's cracked

tickle fights were very rare until Gaara started getting more comfortable with other ppl
Temari and Kankuro would get into tickle fights sometimes when they were younger, but the vibe kinda declined cuz of the little Gaara situationHELLO

he'd see temari and kankuro tickle each other and low key want to join so he started to let his guard down
at first, when ppl first started to try to tickle him, the sand would like shove them away before gaara was like wait this isnt so bad its kinda fun hello

he's the only one she doesn't try to escape from hfjkdhg
she'll get tag teamed by her brothers somtimes, most often Kankuro but Gaara tries his best
