For the fanfiction trope mash-up - 14. bodyguard au + 74. huddling for warmth + SnowWestWave (or your preferred Mick ship)

Mick is hired as a bodyguard/driver for Senator West and her wife. He knows it’s not professional, but he likes both of them a lot more than an employee should. So he bites his tongue to say as little as possible and does his job.

Then, on a trip to up north, they’re snowed in their car on the motorway. While waiting for help to arrive, Caitlin suggests they huddle for warmth to preserve body heat. It’s just survival over anything else, that’s what Mick tells himself. And it’s just the cold that made Iris say they’ve been thinking about him, right?
