Personality : Super smart, awkward, not into vigilante stuff (at least not at first). Nerd vibe.

Bonus : He is the head of Queen Enterprise. He is the oldest of the children, he is a bit like everyone's big brother.

Citizen Cold has been the hero of Central City ever since the Particle Accelerator exploded and gave him ice powers. With his best friend given fire powers and going by Spark, and his sister given gold powers going by Gold Skater, they protect Central City from the other meta humans like them wishing to do harm.

The Streak, Killer Frost, and Reverb have been their greatest enemies, always there to get in their way when they’re trying to do what’s right. It doesn’t matter that they each love one of their greatest nemesis, love doesn’t matter when it comes to protecting the city.

That’s what they think at least, until their Earth-1 doppelgängers are dropped into their world. Doppelgängers who are near opposites of them, and who have been allowed to love the people they think they can’t.

“We need you to be you. Mr. Bestseller himself, come to try the new bakery in town and maybe order some for his shop. We need security, staff, patrons, how much is kept where. You know the list,”

Aaron whimpers against her chest and Frost is praying he doesn’t notice how stiff she’s sitting.

“It’s ok baby.” She whispers, one hand cradling the back of his head, the other underneath him and she is trying her hardest to focus only on that.

Then there is a clap of thunder so loud it sounds like the sky is opening up above them and she yelps.

She’s trying to calm both herself and Aaron, which is never a good scenario. She eyes her phone up in the cupholder as she notices it’s lit up with a message. She’s curled up in the back seat of her car, she had texted Mick when she got here that she was going to wait a minute to see if the rain might let up because she doesn’t want to run through a torrential downpour lugging along their eight-month-old in his carseat if she doesn’t have to.

A pang of guilt aches in her chest at the thought of that and she looks down at Aaron. She had managed to keep him pretty dry in the walk from S.T.A.R. Labs to the car, but she had gotten drenched, and even more so when she moved from the front seat to the back seat because she hadn’t wanted to risk accidentally kicking him climbing over the seat. So she’s soaked, and she’s holding Aaron close to her. She has a blanket between them but that's pretty wet by now, and her hair is dripping despite her having wrung it out with her jacket.

All of a sudden she hears a hard knock on the window through all the rain and she jumps back, hitting against’s Aaron’s carseat and tightening her hold on him. But it’s Mick, so after she recovers from her heart attack she sticks out a foot and pops the handle for the door.

Then, like the two geniuses they are, she and Mick stare at each other.

“I uh... I don’t have an umbrella.” He shouts at her over the rain.

“Get in.”

That’s easier said then done thanks to Aaron’s stupid carseat being in the middle. However, her legs are already cramped at a funny criss-cross angle so she uses her thigh to replace the hand underneath Aaron and uses that hand to undo the seat, save for the base. Mick helps, sort of. He reaches past her and takes the seat once it’s loose and maneuvers it to the front. He knocks her in the head with it in the process.

“Sorry.”

“it’s fine.” She says, curling in even more on Aaron, who is still screaming through all this but at this point she knows how to tune him out to a certain degree.

Once his seat is out of the way she scoots back, over the base, and finally Mick gets in and closes the door. He huffs as he sits down, shaking water off his arms and head and then he looks at her.

“You look like two drowned rats.”

She smirks, “You’re one to talk.”

He hums, or whatever that sound he makes is. Anyway, there is a bright flash of lightening, followed almost immediately by a LOUD clap of thunder and while Aaron screams his fear she shouts too, and when it’s over she notices two things; her heart is racing and Mick is chuckling.

“You scare of thunder?”

She shrugs.

“Never seen a storm this bad.”

He hums, and he reaches out, so she starts to maneuver Aaron around and he does take him, but he gets him situated in one arm and then keeps the other one out. An invitation for her, if she wants it.

She does, and it’s awkward and cramped, and loud with Aaron still crying right in their ears, but between the two of them they’re able to clam him eventually. Until another clap of thunder that is.

But, this time, she doesn’t jump.

Caitlin Snow x Mick Rory, First Child AU. 

“Hey,” Caitlin grins, bright and warm, as she moves to bend down to wrap Iris in a one armed hug before stepping back to beckon her friend into the house. “I didn’t know you’d be stopping by this early.”

“Of course I was coming over early,” Iris chuckles, as she stepped out of her sandals and drops her purse on the table. “Like I was gonna wait for the party tonight and have to fight Barry, Cisco, Len AND Lisa for the right to hold my new niece.” Both share a warm laugh at her answer.

“Heaven forbid you have to compete to hold the baby,” Caitlin deadpans with a shake of her head. “Well, she’s napping with Mick right now, but come on, you can get your cuddles in now.” She nods behind her, before leading the way to the back of the house, where the family rooms at. “I swear, Mick’s turned into a bit of a cat since we brought her home last week, finding patches of sun so they can nap in them.”

Iris lets out a twinkle of soft laughter, as she follows her friend before pausing and letting out an awe as she sees Mick stretched out on the floor, completely passed out with the baby cuddling on his chest. Caitlin glances back, and makes a motion, as if to say, ‘see? what did I tell you?’

Both women girn softly, though Iris does pull out her phone, snapping a quick pick to send to the rest of their family. As she puts her phone away, she watches as Caitlin pads in, bending over to gently scoop her baby away from her husband. “What did you guys finally name her?” 

“This,” Caitlin murmurs, voice soft as she beams down at her baby, as she makes her way back over to Iris before flicking her eyes up to Iris. “This is Ignatius Hayden Snow-Rory.”
