God Serena is the weakest member. Also the most annoying

You can get frost bite from just bumping into Invel. Brandish is convinced he does it on purpose to keep people at arms length

Irene uses really old slang. Like no one knows what she is saying

Also her native language is an old dead language and sometimes she just slips into it on accident. Zeref is the only one that also speaks it and they carry on the convo like normal

Zeref's native language is also a dead language but it is a different one. Very confusing for everyone else

Jacob straight up won't look at any of the women in the twelve. None of them cover up enough for him. He tries to offer them cloaks to cover themselves during meetings but they get mad

Larcade tries to make everyone pray before meetings and meals. He usually gets laughed at. Tho Invel will actually join him from time to time out of politeness

Neinhart is not well liked among the twelve. He has a habit of randomly bringing up their dead loved ones.

To no ones surprise, Bloodman and Neinhart are good friends

Ajeel, Dimaria, Brandish, and Neinhart make up random 'human' facts to tell Wall and throw off his programming. Wall has no idea what is true or not and just fully trusts everything they say

Irene also joins in on this but mostly because she doesn't wanna talk to Wall and just gives him a random answer without actually listening to what he asked

He would accept it graciously but with a great deal of confusion, and spend quite a bit of time sniffing at it before finally giving in to nibbling away at it while he worked. Not because he's afraid of being poisoned or whatever, more just because he doesn't eat baked goods very often so figuring out what type of food he's been given would take precident over just going right ahead and eating it

This is weirdly specific but has any mortal tried to ask Grimm to kill off their neighbouring kingdom before?

I feel like it must have happened at some point, given that Grimm's status as the Nightmare King, association with dead/dying kingdoms, and ability to be summoned through specific rituals gives him both a formidable legend and a relatively easy means of contacting him, provided that the situation is desperate enough. The Seer's way of describing him certainly makes him sound like a force that you wouldn't want to mess with.

He'd laugh them off, though. Grimm is not a conqueror, terrifying though he must be; he's a wanderer and a scavenger. He does not have the resources (nor the strength) to fight off or kill another god, nor would he do so even if he had the power. He might assist in their downfall, yes, he's cunning enough to do so, but he'd only participate if he could sense that they were weakening and that their kingdom was at an end, as he could then reap the benefits after their fall. He wouldn't risk his neck or his troupe when he could just wander away and come back later once all the dirty work was done

You said that "nectar is not a sustainable food for larger animals" regarding the moths and butterflies of Hollow Knight. I wonder what their diets now consist of?

Also how often does a regular-sized wyrm need to eat?

I imagine that their caterpillar diet would persist into adulthood! Plants, fruits, nectar as a supplement, maybe occasional bits of blood and flesh for those pesky nutrients that you can't get from eating plants. Nothing too crazy

As for wyrms, they actually don't need to eat too often, especially if they are actively being worshiped by a group of bugs. I'd say a large meal every few weeks to a month would be ideal for them, or a bunch of smaller meals every few days. They just require a lot of soul and a LOT of minerals, especially if they're about to moult, which are resources that are hard to find in the Wastelands, hence why they're opportunists with a constant prey drive. Everything and everyone is dinner to them when their next filling meal could be over a month away

*grabby hands* Give me your Thoughts(TM) on Ghost's ascension to godhood as the Lord of Shades

[cracks knuckles] alright so you know how the Kingsoul only becomes the Voidheart after Ghost recovers their memories of their birth, and witnesses their sibling betraying them to become the Hollow Knight, a position of utmost sacrifice? I believe that represents the start of their ascension to true godhood because it is the moment where they reject the cause of their birth (PK's vessel plan), and choose to take their own path, where they accept their nature and embrace the void instead of pushing it away to chase the dreams of the God of Soul. It's significant, because they choose how they want to live instead of following in the path that a tyrant set for them, and so inherit what was denied to them- autonomy. They become their own person, they accept what they are, and, in doing so, step out from the shadow of the Pale King to become a Higher Being of their own right.

Because think about it- a charm is canonically formed from an extremely strong desire made manifest, notably often death wishes or dreams that present themselves so intensely that they manifest into a physical form. The Kingsoul represents the union of two Higher Beings, so it's a charm that was likely formed at the conception of Hallownest, and thus represents the Pale King's heart- his will. When Ghost changes that into the Voidheart, that essentially represents them wiping away the desires of the old king in order to replace it with their own. They LITERALLY take the reason they were born- the reason for their suffering, and the death of all their siblings, the reason that demands them to be mindless and inert- and they overwrite it to make it their own. They forge their own path. They cast a big ol' fucka you in the direction of the Pale King, drown his rule in void, and then make it a part of themselves so that they can call their siblings forth from the shadows to wreak vengeance on the goddess who tortured their kin. It's a similar moment of power to when they first seize the charm's other half (by beating PK's corpse off of the throne, taking it from him, and then sitting on his throne above his inert body), but its even more significant because that is the point where Ghost chooses to become their own person, and to cast off the shackles that their parents put on them once and for all

(PV choosing to follow in the path that the Pale King set for them could also be why they inherited the title as the God of Nothing, rather than purely the Void itself. Nothingness is still a powerful realm to be in control over, but they did not take the Abyss that made them and make it their own, which means that they ultimately failed to become the Lord of Shades, while Ghost's independence is what earned them control over that domain)
