What’s cool about Ilsa Flynn is that both of her fucked up brothers were doomed by the narrative but in different ways. Like Leo probably just sank deeper and deeper into his own obsession with “cleansing” the world and stuff until he was no longer her brother at all and august realized he was sinking into something that wasn’t him but couldn’t stop it. Idk I just think it’s interesting that Leo was doomed to die and august was doomed to survive no matter what. anyway seeing that happen to both her siblings and not being able to do much at all about it probably wasn’t good for her lol.

Hello fellow Monsters of Verity fans.

This is a side blog. I like/follow from my main @justmorebtsffs, even though I don’t really use it anymore expect for reblogging. 😢

I’m working on rewriting This Savage Song from the alternating first-person points of view of Kate and August, maybe even a bit of the other characters (Harker, Sloan, Leo, Henry, Ilsa). I'm very busy so it may take a while but if you enjoy reading it I'll try to post more chapters.

The second thing I'm working on is a story called The Catalysts. It's from the perspective of each of the four Flynn Sunais about their catalyst and the events leading up the their deaths and subsequent reincarnations. Basically a series of five one-shots.

I planned to release them in order of who became Sunais first: Leo, Ilsa, August, and Soro. But I'm having trouble finding what exactly Leo's Catalyst was. I think it had something to do with Leo being a member of a cult and throwing themselves and their families off a building because to them the Phenomenon signaled the end of the world, but I could have it totally wrong. I'm re-reading the book right now but if anyone knows Leo's catalyst please tell me.

Jamie Campbell Bower as Leo Flynn in an adaptation of @veschwab’s monsters of verity.

I’ve been loving his work for years, and it’s so fortunate he’s more popular with the new season of Stranger Things.

He has the versatility and is good at playing villains, but he’s also very passionate about music and can portray beautifully the wonder with which Leo first experienced music as opposed to the righteous coldness with which he sees the world.
