Happy Lumberjack Day, world!  To balance out all the pirate-themed holidays in these here parts, Lumberjack Day was founded in 2005 as a great way to encourage people to eat a lot of pancakes, discuss arboreal implements, wear plaid, and attack wooden objects like a lumberjack.  Not surprisingly, Canada Post has a number of lumberjack stamps, and the USPS celebrated Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox in 1996.
