writing random Leosagi scenes for fun. a kind of part 2 to the last one?
------------------------------------
Leo was having trouble concentrating.
To be fair, meditation often looked a lot easier on the outside than it did on the inside. Relaxing and clearing your mind wasn't an easy thing for Leo, sometimes.
But today it was harder for a new reason.
Usagi was on his mind. He seemed to be there more and more, lately. He was a honorable fighter. He was brave, he was talented; it was only natural Leo admired him. But.... it had been perhaps a touch excessive, how much he'd been admiring Usagi, especially as of late.
Leo wasnt always the best at picking apart his feelings. But he could tell something was different, even if he wasn't quite sure what just yet.
When he tried to clear his mind, for mediation, images kept drifting back to his mind. Usagi, when he'd helped clean Leo's wound. His hands had been gentle. Soft. His voice had been firm, despite the panic in his eyes.
He shook his head, but yet another memory drifted close. Usagi, on the balcony. The sunset, the evening air. Just the two of them. Leo knew little of relaxation in his life, at times, but that feeling....
And this morning. Though it had been an accident, thanks to Mikey squishing them all together with his acrobatic sleep shenanigans, waking to a bundle of soft Usagi fur in his arms, he had felt like he was floating; his body hadn't felt so truly at ease in a long, long time. He'd slept an hour later than he usually did. Maybe he should have felt more embarrassed, that he'd been snuggled up with a friend he'd met mere months ago- a fellow warrior, no less, but.... was it truly so bad to just want to keep that memory for himself?
To pretend he was asleep for just a little while longer, just once, giving into the small voice in him that only wanted to keep Usagi with him, like that, for as long as he could get away with?
What did it all mean? Where had this voice even come from?
It had built up, slowly enough, that he wasn't sure where it started or ended. The whole thing was ridiculous and confusing.
He wasn't sure what was happening.
Was he really so affection starved? He supposed it had been forever since he'd had a friend, especially one to himself, exclusively. He'd never had one, in fact.
He wanted Usagi to himself because he'd never had a friend before. That was it.
He felt a bit of shame creep into his heart. He shouldn't feel jealous. Usagi should be free to make friends with whoever he wanted.
... but I hope we stay good friends.
Yes. That's what this was. Leo just wanted a best friend.
satisfied with this resolution, he committed himself to clearing his mind.
were Usagi's eyes brown, or dark red?
still playing with the idea of a fic. not committing to anything yet, though, really, just having fun. :P
watch baby gay Leo experience his very first crush aww
he's actually (usagi as well) like 18 or 19 in this story, i imagine, and just very inexperienced in romance lol. My man's first love was his katanas and training regimen I'm afraid.
I think Usagi would have a little experience, with childhood crushes, but nothing super serious.
