First time joining @weeklymagmas, the theme: Fashion!

So I made a quick little sketch featuring Leoichi and CaseyJr. I don't draw them too much, but the WeeklyMagmas inspired something outta me :p

My Au yuichi usagi miyamoto

Transcript:

(1) legs when stretched can grow up to 5 inches longer

(2) no paw pads on feet

(3) depending on the rabbit they can either have full control, partial control, or no control of their ears, usagi has full control.

(4)newborn rabbits are super small and fragile. Also because they down have their downy fur till they are six months old they are more vulnerable to sicknesses at this stage.

(5) when rabbit yokai turn 7-8 the reach a stage called the "thumper stage" their ears and feet shoot in growth before the rest of the body. The type of rabbit affects how big the ears and feet can grow.

Extra rabbit yokai facts:

⁠☆Newborn rabbits are also not the most vocal, it's very rare to have a baby bunny start making sounds before six months, yuichi was one of them, but because they aren't vocal, you can't really tell if they are sick or not.

⁠☆ most rabbit yokai when they are in the thumper stage have wobbly balance because of the ratio of the top half to the lower half, they are also more hyper at this stage, both literally and figuratively "jumping off of the walls"

⁠☆ rabbit kits use more animal noises than they do when they are adults, more to communicate with their parents and other peers their age.

⁠☆ the highest a rabbit yokai can jump is up to 12 feet

⁠☆like cats, sometimes purring can help soothe pain or aches.

IDK why but seeing Usagi being able to casually carry Leo even though he taller than him so unreasonably funny to me. I mean that in the best way possible as it just fits in with their cartoony logic in both of their worlds. You will also get to read the fic early along with a fic in my current drafts!!
