I have an idea if you're interested! Have you considered writing a sequel to the fic where Alhaitham gets fed up with Cyno and wrecks him? -🍬
ooh, you mean this one? I did consider it, and this request made me finish it so thank you for the motivation! I'm sorry it took a little bit, health issues and all that. But I hope you enjoy! 💚

Tighnari and Kaveh huddled nervously behind the closed bedroom door, their hearts racing as they heard Cyno's playful voice calling out to them from the other side.
“I promise, I’m not here to start trouble. You can open the door,” Cyno’s usual monotone voice carried a smirk, Tighnari could hear it clear as day. Both knew that the General was in one of his mischievous moods and after his little scuffle with Alhaitham, it was obvious what plans he had in mind.
“Like we’re going to fall for that,” Kaveh scoffed.
“Fall for what?”
“We heard what Alhaitham and you were up to. We know exactly what kind of mood you’re in right now,” Kaveh explained. “Which is why we hid away to begin with. Now shoo!”
Cyno pouted. They knew him too well.
He noticed Alhaitham had returned into the room, his book in hand and he locked eyes with Cyno curiously. He was about to ask what was going on when Cyno signalled to him to hush with his finger to his lips. The General then pointed to the bedroom and then mimicked the actions of tickling with his fingers.
Alhaitham understood the assignment.
“Alright,” Cyno sighed. “You got me. I’ll go do something else, in that case. I’ll see you both later.”
There was a moment of silence after, which had Tighnari listening out intently to see if it was true or not. Kaveh look to the fox for any indication if Cyno was still there or not but noted an ear flick when they heard sudden footsteps.
The door handle tried to turn, but because of two dendro users barricading the door it wouldn’t open.
“What’s going on?” Alhaitham’s voice sounded from the other side of the door. Both sighed with relief.
“Oh, it’s just you, Al-” Kaveh was about to open the door when Tighnari quickly stopped him with a panicked look.
“Cyno isn’t out there with you, is he?” Tighnari quickly asked, which Kaveh mentally kicked himself for nearly falling for such a blunder.
“No. I just passed him in the kitchen, he’s not here.” Alhaitham sounded earnest. He wouldn’t lie about something like that, would he?
Kaveh was suspicious, but Tighnari had already opened the door before he could voice it. “No, wait!”
It was too late, the second the door had opened the dynamic duo of Cyno and Alhaitham had barged through and grabbed onto the first person they could, which was Kaveh. He didn’t stand a chance as the two men manhandled him into submission.
“I knehew you were lying! Lehehet gohoho!” Kaveh squirmed with forced laughter as Cyno tickled his sides and stomach, while Alhaitham held the blonde’s arms back with one hand, and the free hand tickled his ribs. Kaveh’s squeals of laughter soon grew into snorts and cackles as he kicked his leg trying to escape their clutches.
Tighnari, with his exit blocked by the attack, had ran to the other side of the room for safety in a fruitless attempt to escape the same fate. He watched from a safe distance, albeit feeling guilty about leaving Kaveh to suffer.
Kaveh’s laughter filled the room, bouncing off the walls. It was always endearing for his partners to hear, but just as Tighnari thought he was safe, the General locked eyes with him from across the room.
“Don’t think you’re getting away so easily, Nari. You’re next.”
Tighnari’s tail wagged at the threat, channelling his inner playfulness. He was ready to play chase if needed.
Fortunately for him, the attention went back to Kaveh as he gave another undignified squeal once Alhaitham scribbled under his arm. Kaveh lost all strength in his legs and fell to the ground, pulling both Alhaitham and Cyno down with him.
Tighnari’s protective nature got the better of him and he quickly rushed over to make sure everyone was alright and not injured in the fall, but Kaveh’s laughter was soon heard again, and he saw that Alhaitham was back tickling his ribs.
“Yohohou jeheherk!!” Kaveh tried to push him away, but the tickles weakened him. “Stahahap!”
Tighnari was relieved that no one was hurt, but he failed to realise his mistake until it was too late. He had gotten too close and too careless, and just as he was about to run away, he was grabbed around the waist by Cyno, who had managed to sneak up on him while he was distracted.
“Cyno!” Tighnari tried but Cyno threw the fox onto the bed and was quick to straddle his hips. “Watch it,” the fox huffed in annoyance, clearly not appreciating being thrown like a doll. But Cyno didn’t seem to take notice of that.
“I said you were next, didn’t I?”
“We didn’t even do anything- Wahahait, nohohot thehehere, Cyno!” Tighnari burst into giggles the moment Cyno’s fingers wiggled under his shirt against his tummy. His tail was wagging and his ears flicked up and down through his laughter.
Cyno liked to tickle Tighnari’s tummy, it was one of the places that got the forest watcher all giggly and cute.
“That’s right,” Cyno smiled down at the giggly fox. “You didn’t do anything, you both left me to suffer Alhaitham’s wrath, now you both can suffer too.”
Tighnari and Kaveh learned something that night. Their boyfriends were jerks.
A/N: This was NOT according to keikaku. Just another random fic that randomly popped up in my trash-head on my way to work (?!) so yeah, might as well write and post it now.
Summary: Kaveh breaks an expensive vase and is ready to face the consequences. At least, that's what he thinks. (Also on AO3)
Word Count: 2.8K
..... Well damn. Even in broken pieces it still looked beautiful. Marvelous. Expensive. Historical. Too bad it wasn't supposed to be in pieces.
Kaveh stared at Alhaitham like a guilty dog and then at the unfolded cloth with the pieces of broken vase that was placed on the dinner table. Not just a broken vase. A highly valuable piece of art from Liyue, a mighty gift from Aether to thank Alhaitham for his grand assistance on their latest quest in Sumeru.
A little extravagant maybe, but Aether had claimed that such an expensive and valuable item was not safe to carry around during his travels, and it would be a waste to keep it in his Serenitea Realm, and besides, Alhaitham had been so helpful to them. And so Alhaitham had become its new owner and had kept it in his house for already quite a while now.
"I'm sorry." Kaveh's own voice sounded distant to himself. They felt like empty words, but he really meant it. It pained him to see the beautiful vase like this. Both of them had really appreciated it a lot. It was a truly magnificent and wonderful item which would usually belong in a museum, but it was in their house. He had gotten used to its shiny presence, and always took the utmost care of it.
Until it broke. Accidents happen of course. But this was really nothing he could apologize for. Even though the Traveler might have also gotten his hands on it through close Liyue connections instead of paying the actual amount it was worth, they couldn't deny it was still worth thousands of Mora, if not tens of thousands or more. And with one little accident, a bit of carelessness from Kaveh, it was now broken in little pieces.
Alhaitham stared at it. "...." His lack of response did not help. Kaveh knew he had treasured the vase ever since he got it and that he didn't see it as just an ordinary item. He had often seen Alhaitham staring quietly at it, admiring its beauty. Kaveh closed his eyes and sighed.
"I'm so sorry," he muttered. He could explain all he wanted how it happened, how he obviously didn't mean for it to happen, but it would all be useless. He didn't have the money to pay for it and even if he did, it was a unique special piece, one of a kind. He also couldn't think of repairing it, that seemed impossible.
He could barely offer Alhaitham anything. Daily chores? He already did them. Furiously clean up the entire house? And break even more things? He could already imagine the look of disapproval from Alhaitham.
"I'll do anything to make it up to you," Kaveh said. Alhaitham's eyes finally went from the broken vase to find Kaveh's guilty expression.
"Anything," he said. It wasn't even a question. Kaveh nodded. He shuddered a little at the tone of his voice and he felt his ears getting warm when he realized how naughty this may sound. But he also knew Alhaitham wouldn't demand anything like that.
"L-like eh... Want me to uh, give you a massage everyday? I'll do it. If you'd rather humiliate me and want me to kiss the floor, I'll do it too. I don't think there's much I can do to make up for this mistake," Kaveh admitted, glancing at the broken pieces that shimmered on the table.
"But if you feel like punishing me, please by all means, go ahead."
It may sound weird but Kaveh wanted to be punished for it. He did something bad without a good excuse other than being careless and stupid, and he felt even worse that Alhaitham was just standing there, staring blankly. Come on, yell! Get angry.
Kaveh could see the very subtle expression in Alhaitham's eyes; it wasn't that he didn't care at all. But he wasn't a person to lose his cool about a broken vase, no matter how expensive. And if he was just going to shrug it off with indifference and deal with the sting of the destroyed art on his own, Kaveh somehow felt even worse.
"Then," Alhaitham started slowly, and he took a chair and pulled it backwards slightly.
"Sit." It was a command, but still sounded as a gentle gesture too. Kaveh hesitated and did as he was told.
"Uh... Okay?" He wondered if Alhaitham would punish him by making him sit here for hours so Kaveh couldn't move his butt around the house and break more things, but it didn't seem to be the case when Alhaitham stood right behind him.
"Arms up."
Kaveh tingled. Oh. No way. It couldn't be that... No. The fact that the thought even crossed his mind was crazy! Alhaitham wouldn't possibly tickle him, of all things he could choose. Kaveh would literally wipe the floor with his head if Alhaitham asked. All to feel less bad about his enormous blunder. Tickling would be so... Hm. There wasn't a word for it.
"Like this?"
Kaveh held his arms up, and he tensed when Alhaitham gently took him by his elbows, pulling slightly and guiding his arms into the desired position, with his hands right behind his head. Shit, now that felt vulnerable.
"Do I sit here for the next 24 hours?" Kaveh wondered. It was ridiculous that he hoped for it. It seemed like a reasonable punishment and better than... He squirmed. Better than tickling?
"No." Alhaitham paused. "...I'll tickle you until you fall off this chair. In broken little pieces."
WHAT! Kaveh immediately lowered his arms in response and turned around.
"No way," he yelped. Alhaitham still stood there like a statue looming over him. He didn't have the expression that matched with the words he just said.
"Come again?" Kaveh thought he may have misheard it because of his inner thoughts that already went to strange places.
Alhaitham sighed. "You said you'd do anything. So I want you to sit here and accept the fact that I'll tickle you until you can't take it anymore."
Kaveh blushed and already tingled in anticipation. So it wasn't such a crazy thought after all. But the fact it had crossed his mind before didn't make it any less surprising.
"I c-can't," Kaveh whispered nervously, but Alhaitham eyed him strictly and didn't move from behind the chair.
"Arms up," he commanded again. Kaveh swallowed. He felt like it wasn't completely impossible to bolt out of here before Alhaitham would lay a finger on him. Or crumble to the floor right after the first poke and beg for mercy like a sad idiot. But... Alhaitham was right. Kaveh had told him he would do anything, and if this was how Alhaitham wanted to punish him, well.... So be it.
"I'll have to warn you, I might scream," Kaveh said as he moved his arms back in position.
"I know."
Alhaitham's short response sent chills down his spine and he squeezed his eyes shut. He hated this position, he couldn't see Alhaitham or guess where he would tickle him first, but he figured it was part of the deal. Alhaitham had always known how ticklish he was, and at times he would take advantage of it in the most flustering ways. That didn't mean Kaveh had expected any of this would happen now.
For a few slow torturous seconds nothing happened, and Kaveh wondered if maybe it was all a little prank after all. Alhaitham would move away and make him sit here for hours, anticipating a tickle attack that wouldn't come. If only.
The moment Alhaitham touched him, he immediately gasped and tensed up. He had merely placed his flat hand palms against his ribs without moving a finger, but Kaveh already felt like crumbling.
"I'm not tickling you yet," Alhaitham stated matter-of-factly.
"....." Kaveh couldn't utter out any response as he breathed in and out, anticipating the real tickling to begin. After keeping his hands flat against his ribs for an awful minute or two, Alhaitham started to use his fingers, very softly and slowly brushing them against his ribs.
He was still being very gentle and a person with below average ticklishness would hardly feel it. Unfortunately Kaveh did not belong in that category.
"Nnnnnonono...." he whimpered, trying to hold back his voice while Alhaitham's fingers crept painfully slowly around his ribcage.
"N-nohohoho," Kaveh giggled pathetically when the slow movements on his ribs continued. Alhaitham's fingers moved very slowly, barely using any pressure, until all of a sudden the fingers curled and clawed lightly. Kaveh jolted and his arms already trembled, but he kept them behind his head. Ticklish or not, he still had his pride, and a punishment to accept to its fullest.
"Shihhit!" he huffed. Without building up further, Alhaitham clawed again, and wiggled his fingers up and down Kaveh's ribs until he could no longer hold back his laughter.
"AHHHahah!" He felt like protesting, but he had no right. Considering his crime, the punishment was pretty light. He was just too damn ticklish.
"Thahahat tihihickles so fuhuhucking bahad!" Kaveh whined as Alhaitham continued to scratch at the vulnerable spots - one hand tickling his upper ribs, the other hand tickling his lower ribs on the other side.
"Does it?" Alhaitham asked. He continued to tickle his ribs until Kaveh thought he would already give up and fall off his chair soon in what Alhaitham would possibly define as 'broken little pieces', even after only one spot had been tickled. Then without warning he moved both hands up and tickled Kaveh's armpits.
"HYAHHAH!" Kaveh jumped and lowered his arms in shock, but it didn't protect his armpits which were already doomed to receive the vicious tickle punishment of the ten demonic fingers that did their thing there.
"Arms back up," Alhaitham ordered without ceasing the tickling. Kaveh shook his head and wailed.
"I cahahan't!"
"Up."
Alhaitham's fingers wiggled, poked and scratched his armpits, and Kaveh thought he was going to die.
Trembling and squirming heavily, he continued to laugh and with difficulty tried to raise his arms again, but it was impossible. It tickled so bad.
"Plehehease I reheally cahan't!" he protested. Alhaitham sighed while his fingers continued to dig at the most sensitive spots right under his arms.
"You're unbelievable," he drawled, and he moved his hands back down, tickled Kaveh's ribs once again, then his sides, and then focused on his tummy. Kaveh bucked in his chair at the renewed ticklish feeling in a different area, more laughter pouring from his lips.
"Aahhahahaha!" With his armpits no longer under attack, he obediently put his arms back up just to satisfy the bastard. He was sure he could hear Alhaitham's chuckle in response.
"Tougher than I thought," he said, and Kaveh's body tingled even more at the sound of those words.
Some curses of going to hell, stupid sad sucker or nasty piece of shit were dancing right behind his lips, but they wouldn't come out. All he did was laugh. He felt he had no right to cuss at him, even if the chosen punishment was so ridiculous, and so much torture.
"Tell me where next."
Eh??? Kaveh jolted when those nasty fingers dug firmly into his stomach in a way that made him howl, and he blinked his eyes, feeling tears from laughter well up.
"Whahahat?!"
"Tell me where to tickle you next."
This was insane. Kaveh tried to catch his breath but he was still laughing. He wasn't sure what the hell Alhaitham was thinking. Whether Kaveh would choose his least ticklish spot - where the hell was that?! - or select his most ticklish spot so he would collapse to the floor right away and possibly end the punishment (?), he really had no clue.
But he also felt that the embarrassment of telling Alhaitham where to tickle him was part of the punishment, which he had to accept.
"Thehehe sahahame - ahhh! S-same spot!" Kaveh giggled, hoping the ongoing tickling on his tummy would brace him for whatever Alhaitham had in store for him.
"Hm...." He could hear the dissatisfaction in Alhaitham's hum. He then dug his fingers under his shirt and clawed fiercely at Kaveh's bare tummy. Shit, he was wrong.
"HAAAHhh!" Kaveh arched his back and slid down, his arms moving down to pry at the hands attacking his tummy, but without even punishing him for lowering his arms, Alhaitham resumed the merciless tickle attack.
"I'm fahahalling- ahhhahah!" There was no response. He wondered if the tickling would indeed stop the moment he'd fall to the floor. Alhaitham tickled him while also keeping him steady, with both hands on his tummy while his fingers continued the ruthless torture.
"Phehehe-plehehease nahahah!" Kaveh kicked and stomped his legs hilariously. What a sight it must have been. His hands that were holding Alhaitham's hands were unable to defend himself from the attack of his fingers.
Then when those evil hands moved down a little and squeezed his hips, Kaveh bucked once again and almost tumbled sideways.
"Heeehehehee!" Alhaitham still held him steady, but he didn't try too hard to keep him in place. Kaveh weakly saw the floor coming closer. Fall off this chair, and Alhaitham would probably stop. Alhaitham continued to tickle his hips while he fell further to the side and reached out with his arms, his hands landing on the floor before Kaveh's heavy, tingling body followed.
However the moment he had collapsed, Alhaitham kneeled down by his side and began to tickle him viciously all over his sides, ribs and armpits. Kaveh's eyes widened and he shrieked out loud.
"I think you can handle a little more," was Alhaitham's brief explanation for continuing the torture. What the actual - !
"EEEehehehehe Ahahaalhaaaai-ahahaha!" Kaveh struggled and kicked miserably, his loud laughter bouncing off the walls.
"Plehe-plehehease! Nohoho!" He breathed heavily through his hysterical laughing fit and he felt how his body was burning; both from embarrassment and exhaustion.
I'll tickle you until you can't take it anymore.
Alhaitham's words from earlier were ringing through his mind while he could do nothing more but laugh endlessly. Kaveh really wondered when that would be. Surely Alhaitham wasn't cruel enough to tickle him until he passed out. And he definitely hoped he wouldn't tickle him to the point of wetting his pants.
"Plehehease I'm sohohhorry! I cahahan't tahahake ihihit!" he apologized, unable to stop his uncontrollable laughter.
By the time he finally did stop, Kaveh felt like he had barely any strength left to laugh. He wondered if he would still be able to yelp or giggle if Alhaitham tickled him even more than this, but this might be the wrong time to give in to that curiosity and ask him to test it. So he merely nodded tiredly when Alhaitham got back up.
"I think that settles it," Alhaitham said, and he observed the broken pieces on the table.
"I know you might be upset now. But some things..." Alhaitham paused while Kaveh wondered what the fuck he was going to say.
"Some things may look even better when they are broken in little pieces."
...Kaveh felt Alhaitham's gaze on him and he blushed. "Oh." He had so many words ready for him. The vase in his eyes definitely didn't look better now. He also had no idea if there was any double meaning to his words. He wasn't the most charming, still sprawled on the floor right now and tickled to tears. Or maybe this was Alhaitham's way of teasing him...
Without asking him about it, Kaveh managed to get back on his feet, and he tiredly sat down in the chair where his torture had started. He watched how Alhaitham took a pretty glass bowl from one of his cabinets and put in the pieces of the broken vase.
Looking at it this way, it actually wasn't too bad.
"I can t-try to find someone who could repair it," Kaveh mumbled shyly, but Alhaitham continued what he was doing, until all the broken pieces were in. He then turned and showed Kaveh a very subtle smile.
"Why?" he asked. "I wasn't joking." He placed their new, adjusted decoration back where the vase had been standing, and proceeded to clean up the broken shards that were too tiny to add.
"If you mess this up, though, I'll have to tickle you again, and I will tie you up. Don't suppose you'd want that," Alhaitham said, giving Kaveh a gentle pat on the shoulder before walking off.
Kaveh's cheeks had just started to cool down when he found himself blushing like mad again.
"N-no..." he mumbled, but for some reason... The thought of getting tied up and tickled mercilessly by Alhaitham, even worse than just now.... His eyes widened and his entire body tingled and burned at the mere thought.
No way. This wasn't him fantasizing about that. Nope, he wasn't going there. And besides, he wasn't going to make the same mistake to earn himself such a punishment. On second thought... He eyed the recycled vase-pieces-artwork and held his breath. No, never mind. He could never!
So I originally wanted to post this for Tighnari's bday, but my brain gave out so I finished it in the new year
Happy new year uwu
I tried my hand at writing poly 4ggravate, so sorry if this is ass. I still had fun with it

Tighnari x Cyno x Kaveh x Alhaitham (romantic)
Lee: Tighnari
Lers: Cyno, Kaveh, Alhaitham
Warnings: Tickles!
_________________________________________
Tighnari should’ve known something was up the moment that Alhaitham, of all people, wrapped him up in a hug. Usually, the forest ranger is more perceptive towards his partners’ shenanigans, but being left exhausted from a long day of work made him forget what awaited him back home.
Before he knew it, the taller male brought him over to the couch where his other two problematic- I mean, loving partners awaited him. He was carefully maneuvered to lay down across their laps, his legs draped over the architect, his torso on the scribe, and his head had a perfect view of the general mahamatra’s teasing smirk.
“Hope you didn’t forget your birthday present~”
“Please, this hardly counts as ohoHONE! WAh! You guHUHUYS!” Before the fox could continue complaining, three pairs of hands descended all over him. Kaveh’s hands squeezed delicately over his kneecaps. Alhaitham, always the logical one, would poke and prod at the forest ranger’s torso in such a calculated way that made the fennec want to crawl out of his skin. While Cyno went straight for the kill, stroking and caressing Tighnari’s ears.
All the different sensations across his body was enough to send him into hysterics, unable to get used to the contrasting touches. His legs would flail around, torso squirming like a worm and his ears would flicker, trying desperately to avoid the offending touches. Not like the others would let him wiggle away, and maybe he didn’t REALLY want to get away.
“Hah! See this? I always know how to rile him up. Isn’t that right, Nari?~” Cyno said proudly, the endearing nickname dripping in mock sweetness. He scratched at the base of the fox’s ears, causing the laughter to grow squeakier.
This earned a playful scoff from the blonde “Oh please, that’s nothing”
Tighnari felt his heart drop in his chest when his boots were carefully removed. “Waitwaitwait! Kaveh, don’t- DOHOHON’T!” the forest ranger shrieked, almost nailing the architect in the face when the latter started scratching and squeezing at the pink paw pads along the bottoms of his feet.
“Woah-! Your reflexes are as sharp as always, though I’ll still punish you for almost kicking me~” Kaveh held down Tighnari’s ankles more firmly, scribbling wherever his fingers would reach.
“Pfft, two can play at that game” the general shot back, turning this whole ordeal into a competition all of a sudden. Classic Cyno.
The dark haired male was too busy focusing on Kaveh’s fingers to notice the general grabbing one of his hands and holding it down. Once his glove was removed and he felt the cool air hit his bare skin did he look over to Cyno, eyes widening in dread, knowing what the other was planning.
“Cyno, I swehear- Ihi’ll suffocate you ihin your sleHEHEEP! NAHAHA!” The forest ranger tried yanking his hand free, but it was no use. The white haired male traced all over the pads in his fingers and palm, so gentle yet unbearably ticklish for the fox.
Tighnari squeezed his eyes shut and shook his head, anything to try to distract himself from the ticklish sensations along his hand and feet, but the two goobers were too relentless.
Most of the bickering between Cyno and Kaveh had been drowned out by the fox’s laughter, that didn’t mean it annoyed Alhaitham any less. Knowing them, they’d keep this going ‘till archon knows how long…
Suddenly, the architect and the general got distracted by the sounds of… purrs? Their ‘lil competition came to a halt, both of them stopping their tickling to look at Alhaitham, who was currently giving Tighnari some tummy rubs.
“Huh… who would’ve thought that you of all people knew how to get the best reactions from him” Kaveh commented in mock jest, earning an eye roll from the scribe.
Tighnari’s giggling high calmed down, the petting making him grow drowsy. His chest rumbled as his purrs grew louder when Cyno joined in, rubbing at his ears. The nail in the coffin was when Kaveh gently massaged the paw pads on his feet, sending Tighnari into bliss. His eyes slowly fluttered shut until all that could be heard were his soft snores and purrs.
Kaveh had to hold himself back from squealing at the sight, whereas Alhaitham, he umm… at least looked satisfied with this new turn of events. More peaceful than the previous bickering, that’s for sure.
Cyno leaned down, placing a gentle kiss on the fennec’s forehead before whispering a sweet ‘Happy birthday’ against his partner’s ear. A warm smile graced the sleeping male’s face, curling up in his boyfriends’ laps like a true fox. What a perfect way to end such a special day.
What do you mean they text each other even though they are in the same room? Have weird nicknames for each other? Have physical touch non-stop?
Kaveh could never imagine himself living that life.
He and Alhaitham are different. They’re just roommates. A friend in need. His landlord. Nothing more.
Yet he found the lines of their relationship blurring when a sudden message popped up on his phone.
From Alhaitham, too.
He looked over to Alhaitham, who was leaning on the other arm of the couch. They are literally living under the same roof, in the same room, on the same couch. There is no reason to text.
Alhaitham only shot the confused Kaveh a “just look at the message” look.
Weird… Kaveh thought to himself as he clicked onto the message anyway.
That ‘message’, as it turns out, is an Instagram reel.
And the Instagram reel features a cat getting tickled by its owner and squirming adorably.
Kaveh felt his cheeks get hot as he watched onwards. Why, out of the thousand reels Alhaitham had watched, would he send him this particular reel?
The last thing he needed to be reminded of was his terrible defeat in the tickle fight he had with Alhaitham last week.
Ping. Another message. Still from Alhaitham. Kaveh braced himself as he opened that message.
There were only two words— “that’s you~ ”
That was the last straw for Kaveh.
Whipping around, still blushing like an idiot, he hurled the phone in Alhaitham’s face and asked, “What is the meaning of this?”
Alhaitham only shrugged nonchalantly. “I said what I said. The cat looks just like you when you lost that tickle fight last week.”
“I do not—“
“The cat even has the same tickle spots as you do, look at how ticklish its sides are!”
Alhaitham exclaimed, and any words that could have left Kaveh’s lips got stuck in his throat.
“Look at the way it squirms! You also do this kind of shimmying when I get you good, won’t you agree?”
Kaveh only cursed under his breath, his face burning off. He had no ground to stand on— Alhaitham was not wrong in his commentary.
The only thing wrong about his commentary was that it messed up Kaveh’s thoughts.
On one hand, it made him tingly all over and he wanted Alhaitham to tickle him.
On the other hand, he wanted to punch Alhaitham and tell him to shut up, and he can’t decide which one to do first.
Eventually, Kaveh settled for covering his face with his hands, mumbling, “Don’t tease me. I’m not like that.”
“Are you sure you’re ‘not like that’? Don’t lie to me, Kaveh. I know you well enough to know you’re very very wrong. In fact…”
Alhaitham paused mid sentence, allowing Kaveh to peek at Alhaitham’s face through the cracks of his fingers.
Alhaitham was grinning sinisterly to himself. Not a good sign.
Suddenly, Alhaitham lunged himself across the other side of the couch, successfully straddling Kaveh, fingers poised at the side of Kaveh’s tummy.
“…In fact, how about I do a little demonstration?”
Without another warning, Alhaitham’s fingers started to dance a ticklish path across Kaveh’s stomach, causing Kaveh to bring his arms down to latch onto Alhaitham’s wrists.
“N-no! Alhaitham, hehe this is not necessary hehe , d-don’t!” Kaveh said through giggles.
“Oh, you’re a squirmer. That’s really really cute. “ Alhaitham noted, and Kaveh knew he could never live this comment down.
This whole situation was extremely embarrassing.
He was squirming exactly the way the cat did when one hand circled his belly button and the other hand clawed at his ribs.
Not helping with denying the “that’s you ~” claims.
And to make matters worse, Alhaitham’s fingers moved downwards, rubbing circles on Kaveh’s hips, causing Kaveh to let out loud snorts in between giggles.
”A-Alhaitham, n-not hahah there!” Kaveh squealed, thrashing wildly like a child.
“Where? You mean your hips? I mean… if you insist. ” was Alhaitham’s only response. The two hands that were squeezing and pinching Kaveh’s hips came to a halt, leaving a panting mess of a Kaveh on the floor.
“Gosh… I never thought you’d let up, you’re truly cruel and merciless—”
Yet before Kaveh could utter another word, the soft drumming at Kaveh’s armpits made Kaveh choke out a loud gasp, eyes tracking every move of Alhaitham’s devious hands.
“Ah I said I’d stop tickling your armpits, not cease my tickle attack.” Alhaitham mused, watching in amusement as Kaveh’s eyes grew as wide as saucers.
Alhaitham was having the time of his life watching Kaveh squirm beneath him.
Kaveh’s mouth was slightly gaped open in shock, his cheeks rosy, and he kept staring at Alhaitham with that excited yet anticipatory glint.
Truly beautiful.
Yet, Alhaitham’s laughter is what he truly desired. Plunging his fingers in Kaveh’s armpits, Kaveh’s arms immediately clamped down to his sides to protect his armpits, jolting forward with a loud gasp, before dissolving into loud squeaky laughter, his body trembling from the ticklish touch.
All while squirming, Kaveh let out occasional ‘please’, ‘no, not there’ and ‘Alhaitham, you menace’ (in which Alhaitham punished him with more tickles), all very cute and melodious to Alhaitham’s ears.
Yet, when Kaveh’s laughter went silent, it was a signal for Alhaitham to stop.
Scratching at Kaveh’s armpits one last time (and earning a cute mewl), Alhaitham resorted to tickling under Kaveh’s chin lightly, helping Kaveh calm down from the tickle attack while still giggling lightly.
“I… you… you’re evil, Alhaitham. To compare me to a cat and then tickle torture me? You are heartless. I’m taking away your roomie privileges, which means no more touching and tickling. At all.” Kaveh fake pouted, warning a chuckle from Alhaitham.
“Pfft. Don’t worry,I’ll earn it back. Plus, you can always get me back, if you can win the next tickle fight, that is.” Alhaitham teased, and Kaveh let out a scoff.
“Oh, I could definitely win, you see, the last two times are just a mistake,I— ahhh! “
Kaveh’s words were cut off when Alhaitham poked him in the side playfully, and Kaveh immediately rolled onto his side, blushing furiously at his roommate.
“We’ll see about that, giggles.” Alhaitham smirked.
Giggles??!!! Kaveh was left in utter shock, yet before he could playfully punch Alhaitham, the scholar had already left, walking back into his room, leaving Kaveh a blabbering mess on the couch.
That was not fair. Totally not fair. Kaveh thought, blushing to himself and hugging his knees. He's so going to get back at Alhaitham for those two tickle attacks.
After all, this is what just platonic roommates do— have veryyyyy platonic tickle fights and tease each other non-stop. Right?
… right?

it didn’t take the scribe too long to notice something was off about his roommate.
he knew the man like the back of his own hand; he could tell when something was wrong.
and his senses were telling him something was up.
kaveh was behaving strangely.
he’d linger in places alhaitham was at, casting him strange looks, he’d try to initiate conversation or playful banter, and most surprisingly of all, he’d been dropping vague, almost unnoticeable hints of craving… something.
did alhaitham figure out what it was?
not yet. the architect was making it quite hard. what could kaveh possibly want from alhaitham?
perhaps he was behaving like this because of his job? alhaitham has heard many stories of his “moronic” clients, most of those being drunken confessions from the blonde.
his “strange” behaviour continued over the weeks, until alhaitham physically got fed up with the constant hint dropping, lingering glances.
he waited for kaveh to return, sitting on the couch with his arms folded over his chest.
“kaveh” the scribe spoke sternly, staring at his roommate. the latter returned his gaze, his crimson eyes filling with confusion as he stared back at alhaitham.
“yes?”
“couch. now”
kaveh wanted to refuse. he didn’t have time for this!
but at the same time, this could be a chance to get what he wants… right?
the architect reluctantly sat down next to alhaitham, fidgeting with his hands nervously.
“you’ve been behaving stranger than usual.” alhaitham said bluntly, matter of factly.
kaveh scoffed at that. “my behaviourism hasn’t changed a bit. you’re seeing things”
alhaitham frowned at that. “and now you’re lying.”
kaveh froze. fuck. he got caught.
“what?!” he squawked, attempting to hide his clear nervousness at alhaitham’s statement. “i am not!”
“you clearly are.” the scribe sighed.
the two went back and forth for a while, their argument ending with a surprised squeal from kaveh when alhaitham’s hand dug into his side.
“what was that for?!” the architect said shakily, swatting at alhaitham’s hand.
alhaitham was silent.
in one move, he pulled kaveh down onto his lap, his legs holding the other’s arms down.
“a-alhaitham? what are you— wahahahait no!”
kaveh’s words were cut off by giggling as alhaitham’s hands dug into his sides again, his fingers fluttering up and down and drawing out loud squeals of laughter.
“ahahahalhaitham! stohohohohop thahat!” he whined, squirming around in the scribe’s hold.
“i will if you explain your behaviour to me, kaveh.” alhaitham replied blankly, continuing to tickle and squeeze kaveh’s sides.
“hahahahaithahaham! wahahah nooo!” the architect squealed, kicking his legs out. he squawked in protest when alhaitham’s hands moved up to his ribs. “nahahahaha! nohohot theheheree!”
a ghost of a smile crosses alhaitham’s face as he spidered his hands over his poor roommate’s ribs.
“you know how to make it stop, kaveh” alhaitham answered truthfully, biting back a smile at kaveh’s embarrassingly loud squeals.
“youhuhuhu bahahahahastard!!” he yelped, trying to give alhaitham an unhappy frown. it had no effect, though. his frown looked more like a crooked smile. “i ahahaham your sehehehenior! youhuhu behehehetter shohohow some respehehehect!”
“that’s not nice, kaveh.” alhaitham chided, scribbling his fingers across kaveh’s tummy, which resulted in loud laughter and protests from his senior. “you ought to set a better example for your junior.”
at this point, kaveh’s mind went blank. all he could process was the unbearably ticklish sensations of alhaitham tickling his tummy and hips.
he shrieked when the scribe’s hands shot to his hips and thighs, his laughter reaching an even higher octave.
“hahahahahahaithaAHAHaham!! pleEHEHEheheseee!” kaveh begged, tears of mirth pooling in his eyes as he kept on laughing and squealing.
“will you talk to me now?” alhaitham questioned nonchalantly, as if he wasn’t sending the poor architect to his very own grave with tickles right now.
“i wihihihill i WIHIHILL! juhuhust stahahap ihihit!!”
the scribe did as told, raising his hands up ever so slightly.
kaveh panted, attempting to catch his breath after alhaitham’s cruel attack.
“y-you are so mean…” kaveh breathed out, resting his head against alhaitham’s side.
“so i’ve been told” came the reply. “well? will you talk now, or do i need to persuade you more?”
kaveh shuddered at his roommate’s tone of voice, his face heating up as a blush dusted his cheeks.
“well i uh…” he stuttered, avoiding alhaitham’s gaze at all costs.
“you?”
“i… wanted attention..” kaveh sighed. “your attention.”
alhaitham paused at that.
kaveh, someone who claims to hate alhaitham, wanted his attention?
“oh.” the scribe replied, unsure of what to say.
kaveh blushed furiously, hoping the couch would swallow him whole and let him hide for all eternity.
“y-you were busier than usual! of course i’d start to miss you!” the architect whined. “ugh, you are so horrible!”
“you should’ve said so, kaveh.” alhaitham smirked, scratching at kaveh’s armpits, earning himself a loud screech of laughter. “i would’ve paid you some attention.”

“Haitham, you’re crushing my legs right now. Do you have to lie on me in such a way while you read?” Kaveh complained for the umpteenth time. His boyfriend was currently lying across his legs, half over his thighs, while reading his book for his next class. He barely responded, choosing to give a very half-assed ‘mmm’ in turn. Kaveh sighed.
“Haitham, you’re not even listening to me. Scooch over, you brute.” The blond tried to push his shoulder, but with him lying on his stomach and Alhaitham on his legs, his arms really couldn’t do much. Sigh, how awkward. This time it was Alhaitham’s turn to sigh.
“You were the one complaining that I wasn’t giving you company in favor of reading. Is it not enough that I’m here?” He said, accompanied by an eye roll. The blond puffed his cheeks out, though Alhaitham couldn’t see.
“I didn’t say I didn’t want you here, I would just like my legs to be able to breathe, thank you very much.” Kaveh’s tone was as sarcastic as ever, but that was just how their conversations usually went.
“Is it my fault you’re clingy, Kaveh?”
“I am not!” He protested.
“Clingy and a liar? My my, Kaveh, what a boyfriend you’re turning out to be.” The architect apprentice could hear the smirk in his lover’s voice as he flipped the page, nonchalantly. His eyebrows furrow in irritation as he attempted to kick his legs again.
“You know,” he started, “you really know how to find my last nerve and tap dance all over it. I am your senior, you should listen to me and respect me.” The blond huffed. Alhaitham subsequently rolled his eyes fondly.
“If I listened to everything you said, I would find myself in a lot more difficult positions than I’d like. Forgive me for ignoring your whining here and there.” He said, swiping an index finger up Kaveh’s thigh mindlessly. The older of the two flinched with great exaggeration and turned as much as he could to flick his boyfriend in the back of the head.
“Would you knock it off? You know I hate that.”
“What? This?” The question was self answered when Alhaitham wiggled another index finger delicately into the back of his lover’s thighs, watching as Kaveh yelped and reeled forward into the mattress with a squeal. Alhaitham chuckled at the sound. “I thought you liked the affection? You told me physical touch was your love language.”
“Yehes, physical tohouch not- t-that!” The blond exclaimed. A deep flush began to settle onto his cheeks while he was beginning to get a very bad feeling about the position they were in.
“That?” Alhaitham sounded too amused. “You mean tickling?”
The word made Kaveh squirm where he lay. How humiliating. “Yes, that. Cut it out.”
“But last I checked, tickling is a form of physical touch, something you have expressed your deep adoration for. Why, what kind of partner would I be if I didn’t indulge in something you like so much.” Shit.
“Haitham, you keep those pesky fingers a-awAHA- s-shihihit! Nahahaha!” Kaveh’s mind was thrown when the feeling of five fingers began to rake down from the back of his thigh to his calf, excruciatingly slow. He arched his back in surprise, immediately being caught up in bright, boisterous laughter that reverberated off the walls. “H-hahaithaham c-cuhut ihihit ohout!” He squealed, fists pounding into the mattress. The English major chuckled in bemusement.
“What? I’m not even doing anything.” That bastard. He continued to rake up and down the length of his leg, blunt nails making quick work of turning Kaveh into a giggly mess. His fingers scribbled from the swell of the blond’s ass, right down to just before his ankles. Kaveh kicked, squealed and cried with each movement. “My, my Kaveh, have you always been this sensitive? You must like this a lot, you’re barely fighting back.”
“Yohohohohou ahaHAHAss! y-yohou’re on- EEK! gehehehet ohoff m-my lehehegs!” He cried. Every word was cut off with bouts of laughter. By now the pink hue had spread to his ears and chest. Alhaitham wished he could see the bright smile that was splitting his boyfriend’s face right now, but alas, he will settle for hearing the melodic laughter that’s pouring out instead.
“That’s no excuse, Kaveh. You could put more energy into fighting me off, I’m starting to believe this was your plan all along.” Alhaitham hummed as he grabbed Kaveh’s ankle easily. The eldest looked like a deer in headlights. “Maybe if you tell me how much you love this, I’ll stop.” Kaveh could hear the way he was snickering to himself, and he wanted nothing more than to boot this man in the face.
“Nohoho wahahahay! H-Haithaham plehease. Think about thihis.” Kaveh pleaded. To his surprise, the gray haired man paused.
“Plead your case.” He said, tone sultry. Kaveh used this opportunity to catch his breath, feeling like his stomach was in knots.
“P-Please Haitham. My love, my dear, l-light of my life…? Anywhere but there.” The scribe thought. He cherished the sound of his boyfriend begging and almost gave in purely on the basis of how cute he sounded.
Key word: almost.
“Nice try.”
“Oh fuhuck- ACK! FUHUHUHUHUCK YOHOHOHOU!” Kaveh positively howled when he felt Alhaitham’s nimble fingers begin to wiggle at his arches. His hands raked and scribbled around the sensitive souls in such a sporadic way, it was hard for Kaveh to keep up with his own laughter.
“Language, senior. You’re not setting a very good example for your junior right now.” That smug man. Kaveh will surely get him back later.
“EEEYAH! S-Stohohohop tahaAHAhalking! Ihihihihi HAHA-! HAHAHATE YOHOHOHOU! bahahahahaAhaHAHAstard!” Kaveh’s back arched about 6ft away from the bed. He grabbed fistfuls of the bedsheets to try and compose himself, but nothing could shake the feeling of electric shocks seeping through his very nervous system. Tears of mirth began to slip from the corners of his eyes, and he began to wheeze slightly with every new round of laughter. “PLEHEHEHEHEASE!” He kept saying. Begging, even.
Alhaitham hummed. “I didn’t quite catch that? Do you mind saying that again.” He moved his fingers to wiggle under the blond’s toes and was delighted to hear how his laughter rose about three octaves, if that was even possible. “You complain when I don’t show affection, you complain when I indulge you in affection. Truly is no winning with you.”
“IHIHIHI CAHAHAHAN’T! PLEHEHEH- PLEHEHEASE HAITHAM!” He banged his fists against the bed and tugged at the foot that was stuck in a headlock. “IHIHIHIHI WIHIHIHILL DIHIE!” By now, Kaveh had no fight left in him and he was left to just clutch his stomach while laughter tumbled out of his mouth like running water. Alhaitham chuckled at that and let go of the boy’s ankle, watching as Kaveh snatched back his own foot desperately. The blond curled up on his side, letting residual giggles bubble out.
“You’re so dramatic, you know that?” Haitham chimed. He moved to lie by Kaveh’s side as he watched him recover. The latter put up a shaky middle finger, though the effect was lost by the tooth-rotting sweet grin on his face.
“Y-Yohohou are an utter asshole, do you know that?” His blond locks were dishevelled and crystal like tears clung to his lashes in such a beautiful way. All Alhaitham could do was smile.
“Never asked me to stop, though.” He smirked. Kaveh flushed the deepest red of the day.
A/N: So... if anyone is wondering where this came from, I found a fanart in Twitter that greatly inspired me. After two polls, here we are
Summary: After having his work out routine disturbed, Alhaitham decides to give Kaveh a challenge
Word count: 1279 words
“83… 84… 85… wow, you are really good at this!”
“You know….” Alhaitham grunted, pushing his body up despite the weight on his back, “you are not… really helping.”
Kaveh grinned at his boyfriend’s complaining, crossing one ankle after the other as he allowed himself to enjoy the ride. “Come on, how do you expect to gain something from your training if you don’t step up the difficulty?”
Alhaitham regretted all his past actions that led him to his current state. “Whatever… just keep… counting…”
He didn’t know why he agreed with all this. Maybe he just wanted to show off or tease Kaveh in some way… still, it was too late to go back on his words now and he didn’t even want to think about how annoying Kaveh would become if he gave up.
“Right right, where was I? Ah, yes, 66… 67-”
“You were… at 86…”
Kaveh chuckled again, feign ignorance as Alhaitham finished another push-up, “sorry, I keep losing count ~”
With the blonde sitting on his back, the scribe felt like his 100 push-ups session was being dragged for hours and hours in an unending cycle. And with Kaveh counting out loud - constantly going to and fro between the numbers - he was starting to believe that he had already beat that mark a long while ago.
“87… 88… 89- Huh? Come on, Haitham, you are so close!” Kaveh cheered, giving the other a couple of taps on his shoulder and thanking the archons the scribe couldn’t look at the grin in his face right now.
Lying beneath him, Alhaitham was giving it his best efforts to tense the muscles in his arms again, but he was really starting to give it in.
“Y-you are… too h-heavy…” he groaned, managing to get back up, adding one more to the count.
“Hah?! Heavy?!” Kaveh gasped, acting as offended as possible, “just admit you are too weak to finish a session, Haitham.”
‘As if you could do half of it’, the other man thought as his boyfriend continued to talk. He just needed to ignore him a little longer and he could finally finish this endless session. “Just… keep counting, K-Kaveh…”
Tsking at his his boyfriend’s comment, the architect rested his hands on Alhaitham’s back to give himself some extra support. “Fine… where was I at? Right, 71… 72…” The smugness on his voice was clear, not even hiding the fact that he was messing up the count on purpose anymore.
The muscles of Alhaitham’s arms were already sore, his legs tired from the constant tension and drops of sweat falling off his forehead. Yet, Kaveh didn’t seem to mind his struggle, even amusing himself with it.
“What? Are you giving up?” Kaveh hummed in mockery, tapping his boyfriend’s shoulder as Alhaitham laid flat on the ground, with his arms sprawled next to his head. The scribe muttered something, but his words didn’t quite make it to Kaveh’s ears. “Hm? ‘You’ what?”
“I said… I’m. Done.” Alhaitham repeated, a little louder this time. Before he could alarm Kaveh any further, the scribe used the last bits of his strength to push his body up and make his partner fall off him.
Letting out an audible grunt as his butt hit the ground, Kaveh barely had time to react as Alhaitham rolled him over and sat on his back. “My turn now,” the scribe huffed with annoyance clear in his voice.
“W-wait, agh… I-I can’t!” Kaveh struggled beneath him, not able to move a single inch despite all his efforts.
“You don’t need to do 100, just 10. Or ‘are you too weak to finish a session’, Kaveh?” Alhaitham chuckled, enjoying the taste of revenge as he wouldn’t even bulge no matter how hard Kaveh tried to get up.
“Y-you are… too heavy, Haitham! Aghh, g-get off me!”
“Only when you finish your session,” Alhaitham mused, placing his hands on Kaveh’s shoulder, “come on, start it already.”
Kaveh groaned in frustration, able to make far from enough strength to actually do a push-up. Truth to be told, he wasn’t even sure he could do it on his own, and with Alhaitham sitting on his back? He knew he didn’t stand a chance against that task.
“I already told you, I can’t!”
“Hmm,” Alhaitham muttered, looking down at Kaveh as an idea popped up in his head, “I believe you just need the right… incentive.”
Sliding his hands down Kaveh’s back, Alhaitham rested his thumbs over his boyfriend’s wing bones and dug at the blonde’s ribs with the rest of his fingers, making a high-pitched and surprised squeal leave Kaveh’s lips.
“AHALHAHAITAM!! AhahAHA, nohOHOH!!” Shrieking as if it was some kind of murder attempt, Kaveh pressed his elbows down to his sides, trying to protect himself from the merciless assault.
“Come on, do it. I’ll stop if you can finish the session,” Alhaitham muttered in a calm, uninterested tone. His words could barely be heard through the loud laughter as he prodded and poked, tickling Kaveh with ease.
The architect kicked his feet behind his boyfriend, squirming left and right like some kind of worm, but he couldn’t move a single inch with the scribe resting like an imobile boulder on his back. “Y-YOHOHOU! AhahAHAh, h-hohorrible mahAHAn! LEHEHET GO!”
“Keep talking and you’ll have to do 100,” Alhaitham scolded, clearly enjoying the turn of tables. Much to his surprise, Kaveh actually tried to do one push-up despite having his ribs mercilessly tickled by his boyfriend. Of course, he wouldn’t let that go without teasing, “you know, you need to keep your arms away from your torso if you want to do it properly.”
“S-stoHOHOp tahahalking!!” Kaveh whined, letting out another squeal when the Alhaitham used his index finger to poke his underarms.
“I’m merely giving you some advice,” the scribe continued, letting out a lazy sigh as he continued the tickling, continuing to wiggle his fingers despite Kaveh’s attempts to block him, “you also need to keep your legs straight, otherwise you won’t do it right.”
Kaveh cried out softly through his laughter, resting his face against the floor as he could do nothing but laugh. All the (little) strength he had was leaving his body with each tickle. It almost made him regret messing with his boyfriend earlier, “I cahAHAn’t!! HAHahaitam, pleheHEHEHAhase!”
Despite his begging, Alhaitham didn’t seem like he was going to stop anytime soon. Stopping to move his fingers, but keeping them pressing against Kaveh’s oh-so-sensitive spots, the scribe leaned his face down, muttering a little close to the blonde’s ear. “Not so easy, right?”
“Y-yeheah! I g-gehehet it!!” Kaveh admitted, feeling as his whole body tensed with anticipation by having Alhaitham’s hands ready to strike at any moment, “I-i’m sohohorry, o-ok? Don’t b-be mehean!”
“Mean?” Alhaitham chuckled in a way that made Kaveh shiver. The architect had a bad feeling about this. “I only asked you for a 10 push-ups session, it’s not even the same thing…”
“A-AlhaithAHAHam!” Kaveh squealed as the scribe gave his ribs another squeeze, making his heart beat even faster than before. “N-nohOHo, please!”
“Let’s go for 5 then, is it better, Ka-veh?” Alhaitham mused, digging his finger in again and making another high-pitched and embarrassing noise come out of his partner. Waiting for Kaveh’s answer for his offer, Alhaitham raised his eyebrow as he felt his body moving up, noticing that Kaveh was actually doing it.
“One…,” Alhaitham said once Kaveh’s arms were totally tense. After lowering his body, Kaveh’s body suddenly dropped back to the ground before he could finish the second push-up.
“ALHAHAITHAM! AHahah, n-nooho!”
“Ah… sorry, I lost count, Kaveh,” Alhaitham muttered, smiling wickedly, “let’s start again, yes?”
