Soft Eclipse! Some Eclipses are scary, but not him. He is a fusion of Sun and Moon and takes the best of both of their personalities. High metabolism, but very calm and friendly. Maybe just a tad shy.

I've had this idea for a bit but haven't been able to actually draw him. He's a sweet little guy! It's not really an au, but if you want to ask him questions you can.

"Did it hurt?" You delicately traced the golden studs.

"Not much, but I was far from sober," Eclipse's deep voice washed over you. The way his chest rumbled against your whole body made you feel so relaxed. He was so warm. A large hand rubbed at your back as you continued to fiddle with the piercings.

"Why did you get them?" You peeked up at him. He chuckled. The motion caused you to rock slightly, a pleasant feeling.

"I thought, 'father will hate this'." Eclipse tenderly kissed the top of your head. A soft giggle escaped you and his rays flared brighter. Oh, how he adored seeing you so happy. So at ease.

Moments like these made the previous year feel like it has been little more than a bad dream.

"You seem so fascinated with these," he tapped at one of the piercings. "Could it be that you want one?" A playful grin spread across his face.

"Oh. Maybe someday. But really, I just like being able to feel you like this."

Four strong arms wrapped around you, gently squeezing you.

"My darling," he spoke softly, "I love being able to hold you. Sometimes I wish I never had to let go."

"Wouldn't that be lovely?" You kissed the large mark on his chest. "Just you and I, like this forever?"

"Lunar would string me up," Eclipse laughed.

"Not if Pluto got to you first." You chuckled.

"Ah yes, your mother hen," Eclipse smiled, "she may love you more than even I do."

"I'm not so sure about that," you wrinkled your nose, "Pluto has never tried to kidnap me."

The soft light of his rays dimmed.

"A hasty decision. One I'm still amazed you forgave me for." Eclipse cradled you close. "I just wanted you to be safe."

"And that is exactly why I forgave you. I know you were just scared." Scooting even closer to Eclipse's face, you kissed his cheek.

"I love you, Clipsy."

Turning, Eclipse pressed a tender kiss to your forehead.

"And I love you, dear. I will love you until the end of my days."
