Moving Too Fast

Now don't get me wrong, I really like Eva and Izaiah as a couple. I even think the build up is fairly natural. But let me pose a question I didn't think to ask until episode #198 (which aired on Mon. Dec. 29th,2025).

Why are Eva and Izaiah having sex?!

I understand two grown individuals with a strong physical attraction to one another. But Eva just went through this with Tomas! There needs to be more than attraction to cement a physical relationship. I'm not frigid or anything; I just think sex becomes less complicated when you do it in the bounds of some sort of commitment.

Then you don't have people like Kat kicking in doors calling you a whore. Whole scenario, avoided.

But then, Izaiah did just the damndest thing, and called Eva his "girlfriend". Completely unprompted, which just makes me like Izaiah more. He wasn't looking for someone just to sleep with. Could that have thrown Eva off, because of the type of man Tomas is? Glad to see Izaiah is a wholly different thing. But when she told Leslie that her and Izaiah are "just friends" I was like 🙄. I don't sit on my friends backwards and bounce up and down, but that's just me.
