Letae script
I promised a while a go to expand upon the two common scripts used by Orastim's languages: Letae and Bofaz. Today I'll go into Letae. It is used to write down Taedra, a language used in Daab, Simieba and sometimes by the Hondrasoke. Below you can see a quick table that gives the sounds related to the Letae script letters. For example, you could look up the Taedrian word Paif (the metal we've talked about before). You'll notice that not all English sounds are represented in the Letae script. This is because Taedra does not use all of the sounds in English, but only some sounds. Also, some letters can be ambiguous in that two close sounds (often pronounced the same in Taedra, but different in English) will be represented by the same letter in the Letae script. I wish I could type these out, but you'll just have to make do with the scanned image. I do want to mention that beyond Taedrian kingdoms, Letae is not used much. Bofaz script, originating from the Malalir for use with their Rudenz language, it much more widely used. In addition, the Arav script has popularity with some of the former Brotherhood kingdoms, especially the Vorgabar territory. [five-star-rating]
