Y'all. Y'all. How come since I've logged back on here I am seeing so much hate and negativity?

I am seeing things like

I hate _____ people.

_____ people don't deserve rights.

All _____s ruin everything.

You don't count as a _____ person unless you meet my standards.

Your journey isn't valid unless it ended the same way as mine.

People who are _____ don't deserve nice things.

I'll never be friends with a _____ person.

I've seen so many different things fill in those blanks. So many of them based on race/gender/sexuality/identity. Like, why did we become so hateful of eachother?

We've divided into groups and it almost seems like we are taking on a bully mentality. "Let's make ourselves feel better by putting others down."

I get it. Somewhere along the line you probably got hurt from something you can't control, and you are gonna face problems that others wont unless they are in similar circumstances.

BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN WE CAN'T STILL BE NICE TO OTHERS ALONG THE WAY!

Maybe I'm a little too optimistic, and but I just don't think lashing out and attacking as a first response will ever bring anything good.

Everyone is always growing, and everyone has milestones that are harder then others for them to reach. But don't stop! Everyone is going to get it wrong, and everyone is going to somethings wrong over and over. We need to learn that EVERYONE is human and deserves to be treated as such. As someone who makes those mistakes and as someone with the capability of growing.

If you can, love each and every person you meet for who they are, not just because of what you're compatible with. And if you can't, if there is something, be it you or them, that let stops you, you don't need to hurt them to walk away from them. Leaving wounds on others only stunts both parties growth, even if it doesn't seem like it.

Today I did some seed starting and hopeful rooting of some trees now just time will telling it takes!

My soil mix for starts of all kinds~

Soil filled trays and reused pots

All set up on the seed table~

It's got legs now and is in the yard instead of under the patio since currently weather is good and the sun isnt over baking everything

Dont mind the mess off to the side, weve been doing cleanup the last few weeks and the trash seems continuously full :( (we cant green barrel this stuff or compost it cause it has dog waste in it)

I'm seed starting

Kale, chard, cabbage, cauliflower and broccoli since its season for them. With a bit of luck they'll grow quickly since I feel I'm a bit late in season to start them

In the smaller rounds is some moringa and the white tray a mix called "chicken grass" to give some extra enrichment and nutrition to my chickens~

Some catgrass in the water tray for my house cat, split and separated my paper white bulbs and renewed the soil for them.

In the back left side 2 pomegranite cuttings, a fig and a bbn peice off my (what I believe is) chiltepin.

And another pic to update my ducks nest! Shes been feathering it out now! I think theres about 16 or 17 eggs inside, I'm doing my best not to stress her out too much when she leaves her nest. Though it seems one of the neigjbourhood strays has decided to start moseying round this part of my yard :( I'm hoping it leaves her and the babies (when they hopefully hatch! 🤞) alone. If not we're in the works to take the babies and put them someplace safe till their a bit older and bigger and then will return them until processing time.
