Please leave a paper bag of in-date canned or boxed food by your mailbox for your carrier to pick up!
(Food pantries usually get loads of tuna, pasta, and canned beans--including green beans. So, please think outside the usual!)
For all my US peeps, Saturday, May 13th, 2023 is the annual US Postal Service "Stamp Out Hunger" food drive, sponsored by the National Association of Letter Carriers.
You can donate non-perishable food by leaving it by your mailbox tomorrow. Nothing in glass or out-of date, please. All donations will go to your local food pantries!
