In the midst of all the crazy lately, it has been so important for me to just pause and remind myself who’s really in control. The past couple weeks have really shown me how much I rely on basic comforts (ie luxuries) like my groceries being delivered to my door anytime I need something. The option to get groceries and diapers delivered for my kids is not available right now (because of all the high demand) which is fine but the crazy part is that my husband ran up to our local Walmart last night to grab a few things and they were flat out of milk, potatoes, eggs, bread and basic staples (thankfully, they did have diapers and other items!). I’ve never in the past had to wonder if those things would be available or not. And honestly, that thought just makes me grateful and realize how I’ve taken these basics for grant-it. Everyday here in the US seems to be a constant change and shift from our normal daily lives as our government works so hard to stop the spread of the Coronavirus. We have no idea what the next announcement will be but we are choosing to have faith over fear and know that God is in control. And we are so grateful for all the leaders are doing to make the best decisions for our country. I know that a lot of you are from other parts of the world and I would love to know what life is like for you right now! Are you quarantined at home? Have you been able to get supplies, food and things you need? We are praying that in these unstable times, we would all be reminded of the firm foundation we have in Jesus Christ. He’s the same yesterday, today, and forever#. And we are praying that people that have limited access to the things they need would be taken care of as well as anyone dealing with sickness to be healed.
