                     PHYSICALLY, SHE WAS absolutely exhausted. Abby hadn’t slept well for just over a week, and her body was beginning to feel the effects of a mind that couldn’t shut down. An accidental misdial of her friend’s phone number may have resulted in a new adventure, but it was still in the back of her mind as she trekked to the lake’s edge that she needed to find a way to SLEEP. She stopped when the lake’s water lapped at her bare feet, the water cool from the night’s air, and she looked up. She wasn’t certain how HIGH ABOVE the lake Liam would be, or if she needed to send some sort of flare. “Well,” she murmured. “I’m here.”

Lucie approached Liam’s place with determination. They had never actually sat down and talked about what happened in their childhoods, hell, Lu never told her specifics either. In addition to that, Liam didn’t even know what Lucie’s power was. They were in as safe of a place as ever right now, and they needed to set it all out on the table. 

Knocking on the door, she called out, “Liam, it’s Lucie. We need to talk about everything and I’m not leaving until we do.”
