IOTADRAMON

Adult-level Armor | Vaccine | No Attribute Dragon's Roar | Virus Busters

Iotadramon is a dragon-like Digimon born from the power stored within the [Digimental of Hope]. Its data matches the collective data of the constellation 'Draco', and all the stars within it. The star perched between its horns matches known data on the former North Star, Alpha Draconis. They are one of the more aggressive Digimon born from [Hope], but are by no means mean nor outright hostile. They are often seen guarding Digimon and locations from Digimon several times larger and stronger than themselves, even if it would mean the death of them. In combat, Iotadramon are extremely aggressive. It is not uncommon for them to give their opponent inches, before taking back miles. They play their opponent into thinking they are winning, before violently kicking them with their armored hind legs until they surrender or cant get up [Axis Break]. From a distance, Iotadramon often provide support fire for their allies. Concentrating all their power to the star between their horns, Iotadramon can fire a rain of white fireballs at an opponent [Comet Hail].

Does it bother anybody else that for someone who keeps going on and on about how his species were prey (and even makes the point that they were only prey), Saru has the foreward-facing eyes of a predator? I’m not saying he’s lying, just that species with a lot of predation pressure (that aren’t also predators themselves) usually have usefully wideset eyes so they can see it coming from all sides, and predatory species have forward facing eyes so they can judge depth to track and catch their prey.

Artie, do you think Lion could be a projection somewhat like Holo-Pearl? Holo P could stay around while Pearl was reforming, so Lion could be a projection made by Rose that's still around while she's not. That's not really a consistent theory since Holo Pearl isn't as conscient, tangible and powerful as Lion, but that's just a guess.

yea, that’s kind of my current theory on it. Something like the Holo-Pearls, but with more autonomy. Kind of like the little Centipeetles or the small crabs (from the Crab Monster in “Rising Tides/Crashing Skies”). If corrupted Gems can have these sort of off-shoots, I imagine a non-corrupted Gem could too. Rose is more powerful than Pearl (in a manner of speaking), I think the offshoots that she could create, especially with concerted effort (Lion seems very much designed FOR Steven), would be more powerful or more developed than Pearl.

Of course, the big flaw in this theory is why an offshoot of Rose’s could create portals. That doesn’t seem to make sense and makes it hard to consider the theory particularly viable.
