I almost can't believe it's been a year since Beyond came out, I remember being so excited to the days leading up to it and watching it first thing in the morning. I loved watching Beyond, and might just rewatch it today.
To celebrate, I want to talk about my favorite things about Beyond(besides seeing all of the 02 kids), which you can kinda gather from the screenshots but I will talk about them more below the cut since it will be a lot of text. Main thing though, is happy 1st anniversary Beyond, I am happy you exist.
Takeru's Books
I love how we see Takeru's books. Despite the fact I do not fully understand how Takeru wrote this many or if they are every adventure they've had, I did love seeing all of Takeru's books and the fact it opened like this was fun. Also, the fact Takeru and Patamon had speaking lines in this movie, I loved that, which brings me to my next favorite things
Iori has a speaking line
Iori, like most of the 02 kids, are shafted in Adventure media, and him more than Daisuke & Ken so it was nice that he got a speaking line in this movie. The Japanese voice actor for him is good and speaking English and I fully believe that Iori can speak English and would join Taichi & Yamato on their antics around the world. Iori is one of my favorite Adventure characters, so it was nice seeing him get some good treatment
The Armor Digimon
After being ignored after 02, I loved seeing not only the 02 Armor Digimon but even more Armor Digimon. Fully headcanon those Armor Digimon belong to the Dark Spore kids, and that they were standing behind Daisuke & Ken. I love the Armor Digimon, ones that appeared in 02 and ones that didn't, so seeing them animated again was amazing
Takeru & the Dark Ocean
I've always believed Takeru has had a connection to the Dark Ocean, since Hikari thinks she and Ken were pulled there because they keep everything inside and that fits Takeru perfectly. I headcanon that Takeru is here because the process of writing his books has forced him to confront his trauma and the story playing out in Beyond made him kinda depressed and lose his Hope, so that why he's so calm. No matter why he's there, or what you headcanon, I love the fact Takeru is in the Dark Ocean
Iotadramon is a dragon-like Digimon born from the power stored within the [Digimental of Hope]. Its data matches the collective data of the constellation 'Draco', and all the stars within it. The star perched between its horns matches known data on the former North Star, Alpha Draconis.
They are one of the more aggressive Digimon born from [Hope], but are by no means mean nor outright hostile. They are often seen guarding Digimon and locations from Digimon several times larger and stronger than themselves, even if it would mean the death of them.
In combat, Iotadramon are extremely aggressive. It is not uncommon for them to give their opponent inches, before taking back miles. They play their opponent into thinking they are winning, before violently kicking them with their armored hind legs until they surrender or cant get up [Axis Break].
From a distance, Iotadramon often provide support fire for their allies. Concentrating all their power to the star between their horns, Iotadramon can fire a rain of white fireballs at an opponent [Comet Hail].

Nonomon > Nullmon > NullDORUmon > Iotadramon
I had Ether as a pabumon drawn for a while. So this weekend i colored it digitally, and placed it on a screenshot of primary village from the Digimon anime.
I designed the washi tape/borders.
She doesn't have a name yet, but that's the Swanmon that raised Ether.
