The fatigue weighs heavily on me.
It's like the beginnings of feeling sick,
Life draining out dreadfully.
I can't even overthink anymore,
My adrenal glands feel burned out,
Like a week-long coffee binge,
And it's just the first day without.
The headaches are the worst,
All I want is to sleep,
The colors aren't as bright,
And I'm in a haze.
I miss the rush.
The feeling of being alive, even if it gives me anxiety all the time.
Just one more sip of you,
Even just the smell,
And I'd feel it once again.
Tea with milk...
And really, is there anything better after a long day’s shopping than a hot cup of needle tea~?
the electric century album is so good im about to start crying in the middle of my speed builders game
do you think there was one specific thing that got you hooked to the witcher? like, for you, was there one specific scene or character or theme that really pulled you in, or do you just like it all?
oh that’s such a fun question! I honestly didn’t really like it when I first started watching it. I couldn’t get into the time period, I didn’t understand the timeline, I didn’t love Yennefer’s storyline, I didn’t understand the whole conversation with Stregobor (sp?). but the sword fight in ep. 1 was something that really caught my eye, and as embarrassing as it is to say it, I’m a total horse girl, so seeing Geralt with Roach made me soft.
I clicked Next Episode because I wanted to know what would happen with Ciri (and also because I was watching it with my roommate), and then we got to meet Jaskier.
So basically, the short answer is that I didn’t like any of it at first, but then little things from every storyline started to click with me and turn into something that was intriguing and that I could love. I love it Much More now that I’m watching it through a second time, and even more now that I’m making my way through the books!
