"Rob Liefeld created Deadpool" is technically true but extremely misleading. He churned out a typical over-the-top '90s look (swords AND guns! pouches everywhere!), added a generic healing factor, mediocre backstory, and slapped a goofy pick n' mix name on it. Writers realized they could make him interesting only by turning him into a sharp, self-aware satire. Liefeld hated and opposed this until it succeeded; then he took credit. The writers gave us everything worth celebrating about Deadpool.

Okay so I've been wondering: How does Bendy feel about social issues like racism? I know this may be weird to ask, but back in the 70's, people were just starting to get used to black people having rights, and there was still a lot of racism going on back then (and even now). How would he feel about how things have changed in that aspect?

Honestly I’m not sure he’d even be aware that was a thing. I mean Jesus, he’s a cartoon character, and a monochrome one at that; didn’t exactly come up, skin color. Moreover, he’s generally not in a situation to be directly exposed to social issues; the news either has The War or The Aftermath Of The War on, depending on the point in time, meaning Darlene and Susan automatically skip over it and Henry shoos the kids out of the room, and due to spoilers spoilers he only sometimes interacts with humanity at large on a proper, personal basis.IDK Bendy’s a sweetie at heart, he’d probably be perplexed by the idea. Followed by pissed.
