Shaw canonically berated Shinobi as a child for being weak and while I think that was mostly in reference to his character (as perceived by Shaw) I think it was absolutely in reference to his body too. Despite growing up with so little to eat, I think Shaw was always massive for his age and doesn’t see an excuse for why any little boy is, well, little.  But I think that for daughters, that would be a non-issue. Girls are allowed to be small and even stay small when they grow up. That’s fine. Because while Shaw is seldom intimidated by men smaller than he is, he is intimidated all the fucking time by women smaller than he is.

Hii, same anon from yesterday that talked about the brazilian commentator and well, I think Bortoleto might have hinted at something about Williams this summer break ?!

Brazilian podcasts have been all over Bortoleto this break because he's pretty much the first brazilian with a real chance at something in a while (the Fittipaldi brothers never had any chance and Drugovich has an awful manager). And Gabriel was also picked up by Alonso's management/pr team, so in one of those podcasts they asked Gabriel if Fernando was helping him with potential open seats in f1 (they were hinting at the Audi seat) and Gabriel said not Fernando directly but he was helping too, and then one of the guys asked him how close he had come to getting a seat and he said and I quote "Closer than I ever expected with this being my first f2 season, but you can't rush some things if you want to stay in f1".

Everyone thought that was about Audi, and it even made it into the news (a brazilian reporter even asked Alonso last gp about it and he confirmed he was involved), but now looking back and thinking about it...

Could that have been negotiated over the summer ? Why do it now? And if that's the case, that fp3 crash had nothing to do with it?

I see what you mean, I read those latest rumours about Fernando (who manages Bortoleto, basically) and the audi’s seat.

I mean, those rumours could’ve been about Fernando (also?) trying to struck a deal with Williams for Bortoleto, but the reality is we will probably never know.

There has been endless gossips about James V wanting to drop Logan mid season (iirc, the voices started around Imola…) and replace him with someone else, so Fernando and Bortoleto might’ve been involved at some point, but who knows.

And I think the fp3 crash had not much to do with the final decision, unless Logan was threatened with never crashing again or else and he just did.
