On the far left is one of the photographs from the shoot I set up at home. I chose that particular photo as I thought the pose, composition and lighting were a suitable base to use as a template to play around with adding some digital details. I also chose to work with a black and white photograph because I thought the contrast of the black and white with the digital dress would be eye-catching. I was surprised at how well the photograph of the fungus fit so well onto the photo and it was satisfying to make that connection. I think that photo is the most striking of them all and has huge potential to be refined further. I also think the top right photograph is striking because there is a faint remanence of the original photograph under the thick black lines and it creates a nice contrast. As for the last photograph I feel it comes across as very forced and too heavy.
