Not kidding. I just checked and Nathaniel says almost exactly the same thing as Ladybug when she revealed herself as Marinette to Adrien :

"S'il-te plaît dit quelque chose" / "Please say something"

"Dis quelque chose" / "Say something"

This coupled with Lila/Cerise mentioning Nathaniel while writing means that there's a big chance this reveal will have consequences later in this season omg...She probably already has suspicions of him being Caprikid...

my personal headcanon for Marinette is that she would be more the type to become a small indie creator with a cute fashion boutique rather than a high fashion designer. Especially since she canonically refused Audrey's and Gabriel's offers to get into the fashion industry as she prioritized her personal values.

I imagine her having an small shop, built on sustainability and focused on making each customer feel special and seen. She wouldn't feed into the never ending trends pushed by capitalism and encourage overconsumption.

I feel like some corporations would use Ladybug's image to promote the whole girl power movement bs just to sell things. So you get the same old misogynistic ideas under a different packaging : "You totally need that super useless product to be the hero of your life !!" or "Take control of your life and lose those extra pounds to have the same sleek figure as your favorite superheroine !" "Girlboss hard with this ladybug shirt !"... stuff like that

And since she's a public figure without actual copyright or trademark deposited, they really can do anything they want without risking judiciary pursuit - they could even hire a model/actor who can pose like ladybug for commercials and stuff (could make an oc from that and also explore the topic of body image issues, stalking and obsessions with celebrities)

It especially works well since this kind of performative feminism really began to rise in popularity around the 2010s, so it makes a lot of sense in the miraculous timeline

This also serves as a great parallel with Adrien, who's a super famous model in his civilian life with little to not control over his own image. Maribug going through the same treatment in her Ladybug identity could help her empathize with him and understand him better, ultimately removing her rose tinted view of him and sparking her interest in getting to know the real him

been thinking about the fact that nino and luka basically never interact with eachother, even though they’re both chill dudes who like music...luka is a bit more grounded and nino on the sillier side, so they would balance each other very well

actually I think that adrien-nino-luka trio just sounds perfect, what is the show waiting for to do this ? I need these 3 need to interact and be best friends so bad

tbh overall, the more I think about it, the more I realize that nino is a character with great potential but he’s underutilized in the show + has a record of having a very inconsistent character, I feel it’s because he’s north african but I can’t prove it

I've been theorizing a lot about who the members of the weird cult/council seen in the post-credit scene could be since this post I made.

I think everyone agrees on the fact that each symbol represents a sector that the person leads. For example, Gabriel is the diamond because he's in the fashion industry whole Tomoe is the engine because she has a tech company.

I'm also thinking that all the members could have sentikids just like Gabriel and Tomoe as I've already mentionned in a previous post.. And since we know for a fact that Gabriel was the diamond, it led me to think about the diamond ball a bit more.

I'm referring to that special event that Gabriel and Tomoe organized in "Emotion", where only children of the elite were invited.

Since the members of the weird cult all seem to involve rich people leading a specific sector, what if they were all there with their sentikids ?

Adrien and Kagami are possibly the first sentikids since Gabriel is the one who found the peacock miraculous. So them being the king and queen of the event would take a whole other meaning : Adrien and Kagami may be a representation the new Adam and Eve of this new idealized world these billionaires want to create.

Let me get you started on that Chloe is a sentibeing head cannon because it's one that I share. Idc if it doesn't make sense chronologically, when it comes to the kingdom concept she is always paired up with the other senti children, her parents are the closest people to the agreste family before the start of the show, and her arc is all about free will, whether or not you agree with it's direction.

yes !! from context clues, we know they were all friends for a very long time, I assume at least since college. I can't imagine them not knowing about emilie's fertility issues, the safaris, everything.

I guess if I had to situate chloe's conception somewhere in time, i'd say she could be the second sentikid ? we know that andre and audrey always had a strained relationship, so what if andre borrowed the peacock miraculous to trap audrey because she was about to leave him ? I know this is basically fanfiction territory at this point but let's just imagine this scenario for a moment.

so chloe spends her life without a mom and on top of that, her father isn't really present either. he spoils her but doesn't give her the structure or emotional support needed for a child to grow up properly. maybe he even isolates her voluntarily because he likes having someone who depends on him ? she's his only remaining family, so he traps her in this golden cage where she basically gets what she wants. like that, chloe grows up knowing what buttons to push for her father to give her what she wants.

simultaneously, chloe still wants her mother's approval. all chloe knows is materialism, so she takes care of her appearance more than anything. it's also what society praises the most, which only reinforces her obsession with her image. she needs to look perfect to maybe one day become the perfect daughter for her mom.

and that's how you get a mean girl. she lacks personal identity, and her demeanor is a direct result of her lack of self-worth. chloe is powerless in her life. the only way for her to take control is to act a certain way. she's also emotionally unregulated, which means anything can lead her to have a meltdown/tantrum. she only knows how to sabotage people, not how to love. when she sees her mother again, she tries to behave just like her, to show her they're on the same level. but it's not enough, chloe is told she's not perfect enough. so now she wants the same power her parents have, because then they'll finally see her as capable.

so if actually chloe hates marinette because she has the parents chloe dreams of did we think about that ? while ladybug is kind of a maternal figure that chloe looks up to

maybe I made all that up because I actually don't like andre and I'm not over the fact that he gets a redemption while his wife and kid are just written off as evil lol...anyway all of this is real because I said so

does anyone remember when nathaniel was introduced and everyone in the fandom ws obssessed with him and thought there was gonna be a love triangle between him, adrien and marinette ? I used to see fanart of him with the fox miraculous back in the day lol

since then, everyone and their brother had a crush on marinette. it's basically just how a new character is introduced, litteraly (nino, luka, zoe...)

So am I allowed to theorize that every member of that weird cult has a sentikid or not ?

Like there's already Gabriel and Tomoe, so why not all the others
