Bells, you're making this so difficult for me right from the start, aaaaaaah!!

Show: It's difficult to compare a 37 episodes show to a not even 37 minutes short movie. Without Word of Honor, I never would have watched Brother. WoH has some flaws, but all in all, it is a very good show. Brother is an amazing movie. It tells a solid story and makes you feel all sort of emotions in such a short time. I love them both, I really can't decide.

Character: Zhou Zishu. I love Wang Yue, but I feel like a lot of his character comes from my own imagination and headcanons and not from the movie itself. And I love Zhou Zishu a lot. He's such a cool beauty.

Pairing: LingYue. I love WenZhou, but LingYue are even more dear to me. Maybe because I wrote so many fics about them. Ling Rui and Wang Yue are just perfect or each other. They both love taking care of other and neglect themselves while doing so. They need each other, so someone looks out for them, too. They both get along on their own, but they are even better when they are together.

Looks like Lu Fangning was too badass to fall for the wannabe rapist’s plan and saved herself before Ling Rui got to the hotel room, but she is still toiched that he was worried about her. She asks him to take her to a business meeting and he notices that she is severe stomach pain and is urging her to take better care of herself.

Yup, after the meeting, Mr. Good Samaritan is there waiting for her with meds, takes her home and takes care of her. He cooks for her and even cleans up her messy apartment while she takes a nap.

Ahaha, looks like this drama has ALL THE TROPES. He recognises the picture of her as a young girl and we see a flashback of them together. But of course. We already have contract marriage, accidental meetings, coldhearted CEO vs. warmhearted nice family-oriented person, the messy one vs. the one cleaning all the mess, and I understand there’s going to be a separation and a secret baby as well at some point. Looks like this drama has ALL the oldskool romance novel clichés you could throw at it. XD
