Um. Hi. That screams Jo + Link post-finale energy, right?
So here’s where I’m at:
Theory A: Link dies.
The explosion was no joke & if Link doesn’t make it, Jo’s arc becomes full heartbreak. Very Meredith-after-Derek coded. Camilla playing that grief would wreck me. But it also opens the door for unexpected connections later (👀 Jules 👀 sorry not sorry)
Theory B: Link survives, but he’s not the same.
This one lowkey makes more sense to me. Trauma changes people. We’ve seen it a million times on Grey’s (Owen’s PTSD, Amelia’s relapses, Arizona after the plane crash). If Link comes back distant, angry or avoidant, Jo could end up in the worst place. She’ll still be “with him” but emotionally alone. That’s exactly the “broken heart but keep going” vibe Camilla hinted at, I feel like
And if that happens? Well, Jules is right there at Grey Sloan 😁 She’s getting closer to Jo and Grey’s loves to turn proximity → friendship → something more.
Either way, it feels like Jo’s heading into a massive heartbreak arc. And whether that heartbreak clears space for JoJules or just shifts Jo’s world completely, I’m bracing myself 😭
