So i'm in the midst of making a personal blog about Rico, eventing and my personal riding pursuits on the path of being an upper level eventer. So hopefully those of you with equine blogs might check it out when i've finished it up and possibly give me a follow! It will be purely equine based and about my day-to-day upper level eventing pursuits. If nothing else my horse is cute and photogenic so y'all should at least look Hope you guys will enjoy it! xx

Thesis blog

One of the things we're kinda supposed to do is blog about our thesis. I don't really like any other blogging sites, and I don't want to mess with coding a new one and sticking it onto my chickenfox wordpress, so I guess I'll start a new tumblr with my school email and do it there? I'll link when I get it set up so if you guys want to see what it is and how it's developing you can. it should be interesting. 

I realize I haven't said much about what I'm doing. I'm designing a community culinary center in Seattle, using cooking techniques to inform the design, material choices, and other stuff. There's also a test kitchen (for people who are thinking of opening a restaurant and want to try out their concepts in a populated area before investing in a real site) a green market (for students to get access to actual good food near the UW campus), a culinary school aspect that is both for people enrolled in a culinary program or people who just want to learn how to make better spaghetti, and a food bank/soup kitchen to support the adjacent churches and homeless population of the area. (Social Justice folks: is there a better term for "soup kitchen" now? Or is it still that? I feel like it's outdated)
