hi so this is less of an experience and more of a question

so im kind of new to the community and was just wondering what different "types" (for lack of a better word) of aspec there are. like i knew about aro and ace people but im knew to learning about other identities. or if its not the kind of blog that explains this kind of thing do you have any good resources for me to look into? sorry if this isnt the purpose of this blog im just kind of lost where i can look thanks

According to this reblog by @starlitxvoid of my spoiler page from yesterday, Doll's pose is a reference to the tightrope walker from Haunted Mansion, and I'd have to agree. I mean, come on:

Not the first time Yana-san has referred to Haunted Mansion before, anyway. The manga version of the Phantomhive townhouse is based on Phantom Mansion, the French version of Haunted Mansion at Disneyland Paris. Wikipedia | Fandom Wiki.

Alright, so, Paya and Centanu are mentioned in the novels by Steve Perry.

Cetanu is specifically mentioned to be a death god but Paya is a little more nonspecific. She’s more on the lines of ulimate warrior god.

But, I like headcanoning Paya more as a life god as a parallel to Cetanu. That’s just me. The warrior part is still there but I personally don’t keep it as her title.

(Ultimate Warrior = Ultimate Survivor = Life God)

Oh, also, Cetanu was an actual predator. Like he was alive. He just got elevated to god status since he was so legendary. He’s a grim reaper figure. Sometimes he’s portrayed with four arms.

There is VERY LITTLE known about either of them. Or at least that was the case last time I checked. But if you want to know what little more there is that I might have missed then read the Steve Perry books.

I didn’t learn about the gods/novels until I read some of @scarlettaagni’s stuff. So go check out their predator blog @justbeforethedarkness. There’s loads of really fantastic worldbuilding they’ve done for their Predator story.

Also @vertropolis did some fantastic artistic interpretations of them. They’ve got absolutely phenomenal skills.

Oh, wow, so between the 42 fics and 17 videos I’ve created this year/ since May this year, this is kinda hard. AC, I get it now!

I’ve done a few AO3 ask games recently and I could so easily rave about all the little things I’ve done for every fanvid of mine, so let’s give a little focus to those 😊

Fanvid - Kalank (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kM-3gnotAVQ): So this was the first Bollywood!Buddie fanvid I made, and it’s also the longest video I’ve made (4 minutes 15 seconds)! There’s a number of small moments I’m especially proud of, such as the overlay of Eddie’s parents voices at 1:59, but the whole bit from 3:05 onwards makes me rather happy

Fanvid - Dua Karo (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7c0qvVe2cLM): Alternative title is “stop hurting Buck”! Buck saying I quit, the way I somehow ended up with a Buddie moment anyway - this was kinda hard to work out the story for but the song was too good to leave lone.

Fanvid - Please Don’t Say You Love Me (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gNR1sUFvbpg): A Madney song if there ever was one! The effort it took to sync up Chim’s lips with the chorus, and Maddie’s head falling with the word “face”, and how I broke my own heart with the ending 🤦🏽‍♀️

Fanvid - Work Song (https://youtu.be/0ru0hF3awuU): I don’t really do much Bathena, at all, but this song wouldn’t let me go and is my love letter to Athena (from Bobby). It’s fascinating to me to see the difference in quality between my earlier videos and this. I’m still up to my same tricks of cutting to the lyrics and matching small movements on screen to the beats, but there’s little things like the fadecut between Bobby and Athena, Bobby’s head movements, the flicking of the light

tuba - what was the first ever song you listened to that you remember?

In the Air Tonight by Phil Collins. I remember this really specifically, as it happens. I had to have been...6 or 7 maybe? and we were driving at night in San Diego in my dad’s tiny white toyota pick up, me on the passenger’s side and my little brother in the middle and I can’t remember where we were going, but my dad played that song and he’s a big dork so he got all into the drum solo and that was the first song I remember actually *hearing* because it was the first time I realized you could be into music.
