Lovett: ...you can spend time with women [as a gay guy] and feel like you’re, you know, sort of part of that club and you have a little bit more access because you’re not--you’re outside of the, whatever, the male-female sort of sexual thing, whatever it is that I just don’t understand, it doesn’t make sense, you should date each other! [...] I forget that men--like I’ll often try to set up my straight guy friends with another straight guy because like, you have so much in common, like why on earth--like it doesn’t make--the thing you do makes no sense, just think about it logically...who do you go to Star Wars with, you know?
lovett confirming (loli 10/21) that he’s spent the last seven years trying to get favs and tommy to hook up almost makes up for the outrage of claiming girls don’t like star wars
“If you don’t like it then leave!” is a common quip thrown around by supporters of the government to dismiss arguments made by those criticizing the system. But a quick examination of history proves this to be quite a weak retort. After all, the colonists didn't agree with the established government of the day; regardless, they continued to reside in their homes. Therefore, as stated by the Declaration of Independence, they withdrew their consent to be governed and government no longer had just power over them. They killed their oppressors and stayed on the land. These actions are recognized as being just and moral and are highly celebrated every year on July 4th. As we can clearly see in this example; I don't have to leave, you and your constitution have no right to rule me without my consent. It would be hypocritical to support a country that was founded on withdrawing consent while staying and then telling others that if they don’t consent they must leave. From here the statist is left with two options: either the right to withdraw consent and stay does exist, or it does not. Either they must admit that people have the right to withdraw consent and stay because that’s the premise upon which the US government was founded; in which case, their constitution has no legitimate rule over others. Or, if they advocate that there is no right to withdraw consent and stay then they must admit that the US government was founded illegitimately and this region ought to remain under British rule; in which case, their constitution still has no legitimate rule over others. Statists should choose one of the options and stick with that conclusion because their original statement appears to be send conflicting messages that staying equates consent even though the history of this country definitively proves otherwise.

This Lovett or Leave It crowd is WILD. That Taylor section really devolved, lol.
every single home renovation show ever:
couple: “we have $19.72 to spend, but we want to be in the best neighborhood in town, right around some mini mansions, and we MUST have four bedrooms, two offices, an open-concept kitchen a playroom, a teen hangout space, a workout space, and a room dedicated to filming online makeup tutorials, which is my full-time job”
show host/designer: “we found one that’s literally falling apart, like it barely has a roof; it’s a one-bedroom, 1/2 bath with no kitchen, and the backyard is two feet wide and overlooks a cliff for the kids...but i see so much potential, we can just tear down this wall right here and you’ll have your dream home”
couple: “lets do it”
show host/designer: “so we left some stuff out in the rain and it’s all destroyed, we need $10,000 extra”
couple: ...
show host/designer: “but we put in some hardwood floors and painted the bathroom, plus here’s a fireplace”
couple: “ohmygod I love it”
