Carl: A kiss? That wasn't in the job description! Other Searcher (choking with laughter): Maybe it's a perk! (yes, Shrek reference X"D by the way, I prefer Polish version of this scene)

Originally, Searcher was supposed to save Sammy literally using a boat aka ship, but after thinking about it, I decided that it doesn't make sense on such a high floor (they are near the Music Department), so in the end I decided on a less literal meaning of the word "ship" - i.e. a couple X"D

AI-less Whumptober 2023

And so it begins. I'm taking water over my head again and going for both the AI-less Whumptober prompt list and the EctoberHaunt as well.

I'm going to be doing this list traditional with inks and promarkers and try to do the shorter Ectober digitally. Lets see how it goes.

This was my first ever goldfish & first attempt at trying out a Japanese tattoo style.

Inktober, day 27

A great past-time when you have to go through and memorize the works of 20 something different painters for an exam is... see which mythological paintings fit Percy Jackson e Co. Obviously duh!

“Mindflayers”

I decided to do a different take on the black and white crosshatched “Mindflayer” creature I did back in 2017. I still wanted to stay somewhat true to the concept I did back, so I added the mandala-zentangle-portal-like landscape I did there as well. But I wanted to work more in colours this time, so instead I used black indian ink with a dip pen, as I planned on adding watercolours to it. The black indian ink is pure black compared to fineliner ink, and none of the watercolors really stick on top of the liquid ink, as with fineliners, the watercolors actually gets layered on top of that ink.

Instead of just one Mindflayer, I decided to add three, and yeah. I have a kinda weird-ass story concept when it comes to these things which I might to more with in the future.
