Yesterday I got a lovely testimonial regarding my editing superpowers: I’m sure you don't remember me, but you helped me publish my first story. I am emailing to thank you so much for the work you put into editing that short story. Your precision, attention to detail, and your care for me as a new writer are all things I will never forget. I show my students your edits to let them see that even English teachers get so wrapped up in a story it can be hard to catch our own errors. I have never forgotten the things you taught me during that workshopping process, and I am forever grateful you took the time to help me.
